people shouldn't want to talk to me

Pale

Depression has made me an incredibly dull person. I don't really have hobbies or interests, because nothing interests me anymore. I never know what to say in a conversation; I just make it bad and awkward. I never really contact people for fear of being a burden or annoyance in their lives.

So why do people make the effort to text/call me? I legitimately do not understand?

Hi Pale,

Im presuming it's because people still care about you. I'm sure there was a time when things weren't so bad and you were helping others. What goes around comes around and now is probably your time to receive because you're the one that now needs the help/company.

Im sure it's also because of who you are as a person. People don't forget that.

Depression is terrible isn't it. It also effects our thinking and how we see ourselves and the world. Others though see things in a different light.

Are you still able to get out and do some things? I find it makes me feel better to get something done.

Remember you are not your depression. You are still you underneath it all๐Ÿ˜Š
