Local GP's

Hi all

New to this and it seems hard to navigate this site.

Just wondering if anyone else is struggling to find a good GP ?  My local area seems to be only seeing existing patients and I am unable to find anyone to help me.

Hello Belle, this seems to be the situation for many doctors because we simply don't have enough doctors and if by any chance you can find a doctor that's not close to you, you will have to see them once, then you can have a phone consultation, but they need to see who they are talking to first of all.

My GP is good but has little knowledge on leukemia and relies on what the haematologist has to say, so it's catch-22 for me.

My previous GP who left to go to Melbourne still keeps in touch with me and only wish he didn't leave, but still gives me advice on the phone.
