I don't know what to do

For the last 6-8 months I've felt really sad and miserable. I've constantly felt like everyone's against me and that they all hate me. Sometimes I just wonder if I'm good enough and if all this is my fault.

i always seem to do something wrong, my parents are always mad and me. I tried taking to my dad but he was flying off to London the next day and we haven't talked about it since.

I feel like if I bring it up to my parents again they would just ignore it.

i know I need help but I don't know how. I don't know what to do

Hello Shortone123

Welcome and good on you for having the courage to post on the forums too!

It can be awful feeling sad and miserable. You are strong for trying to discuss how you feel with your dad

Can you approach your mum about how you feel? Your parents wont ignore it at all....they would be happy that you have communicated with them Shortone

Beyond Blue also have the young people's section too...just to let you know....the copy and paste link is below

I really hope you can post back (only if you wish of course) if you have any questions..no worries

There are many gentle people on the forums that can be here for you too Shortone123..We dont judge anyone either.....we try hard to provide the best support we can 🙂

Hi I know exactly how u feel and u r not alone so please don’t think that. Talking to parents is difficult as we look up to them and idolise them. I had the same issue with mine but I just kept trying till they saw that I needed help.

My brother doesn’t believe in mental health issues so he doesn’t get it at all but I just don’t worry about him. It’s hard but sit both your parents down and tell them what is going on for u. Maybe have a friend there to support u and get ur point across if u feel u can’t.

Otherwise have you spoken to ur school (not sure what ur age is ) or ur workplace as they may be able to offer you some help and someone to talk to.

We will all be here as well to support u.

Hello shortone123. I’m sorry that you have been feeling this way for so long. I hope you are able to get the support you need and feel better soon. It might help to tell a trusted adult how you are feeling. I would recommend making a trip to see your doctor too. Your GP will be able to help you. You are not alone and there is help out there. Also you can ring Lifeline on 13 11 14 if you need to talk to someone. Best wishes
