Hello Hmin
You are very strong by posting on the forums and a huge welcome to you!
I'm Paul...(in my 50's) and have been on Beyond Blue for 2 years after being made redundant in the private sector.
You have also worked well for over 20 years in your career. That is a huge achievement 🙂
I understand your situation as I have had clinical depression for over 21 years (under management) and have managed to work through most of it through the help & support of my legend of a GP.
Can I ask if you enjoy what you do for a living?
Sometimes having super regular appointments with a GP or a counselor can work wonders for us. If you dont think that will work for you thats okay too.
There are many doctors that bulk bill nowadays....Thats always a good move too
There are many gentle people on the forums that can be here for you too Hmin. Your privacy is also paramount here as well
I hope you can stick around the forums if you choose to do so 🙂
My kind thoughts
Paul
