Hello Dear Sandy321,
A very warm and caring welcome to our forums…
I’m so sorry that your in a depressive spiral….major changes in our lives or routine can be very hard to manage…..I don’t like changes at all in my life, I know they are hard to avoid sometimes, so we try our hardest to get through them each day, the best we can…do you have any coping strategies that you could use to help you through each day?…
Do you want to share what major changes your struggling with?….no pressure at all to share…it’s up to you how little/much you feel comfortable sharing….even not sharing is okay…
We are here to help support through this phase your going through… the best we can…
My kind thoughts with my care lovely sandy..
Grandy..

Hi sandy321,
Welcome to the forums. It is a safe space to have a chat and get some support. I'm sorry that you are having a spiral into depression and that you have been through a major change in your life which has caused this. If you want to talk about it some more, we are here to listen and help where we can. If you're not ready to disclose more, that's okay too.
Spiral is definitely the right word for it. I found myself in a similar situation about two and a half years ago. Since then, I have been travelling a road of discovery in an attempt to find ways to feel better and lift myself out of depression. Talking here, finding coping techniques, gathering information, journalling, connecting with others. It all helped. If you look through some of the past threads on BB, you will find lots of useful advice that you can put into practise. There's also your GP who can recommend some counselling for you.
I hope you can begin to start feeling a bit better. Be kind to yourself and take care of yourself as best you can in the situation. Do you have people around you who can help or you are able to talk to about it?
Come back and chat if you want to, or feel able to.
WF
