Dear Mark

Good luck with your appointment on Monday.

Why is the surgery high risk? I hope you're not in any real danger?

Sending lots of Prayers for success for your surgery.

Great news about your daughter!

How's she going without that med?

Hi Em it's just a high chance of the surgery not being successful and could make me permitly worst. They first dicussed this surgery about 10 years ago but they decided to wait.

Hi Neerja thanks for your kind words. Its been a bit of a roller coaster not knowing what was happening with the surgery after originally being scheduled for August and then bing postponed and now back on. It hasn't been good for my anxiety.

Take care,

Mark.

Hi Mark,

I understand it must really hard with the schedule being changed, it's not nice that they keep on changing the scheduled date. It must be pressuring, worrying and uncomfortable with the schedule changes.

I had surgery once when I was in prep, they did the same thing.

Please know that we are all here for you and praying for the surgery to go well.

Wishing you the very best health and happiness in life

Warmest wishes,

Your friend,

Neerja

My anxiety is through the roof at the moment about my surgery. Not sleeping tossing and turning all night long.

Oh Matchy that's horrible.

Have the Drs or specialists explained the process to you?
And how long you'll be in hospital for?

Do you think you could plan something nice for yourself for a date after the surgery?
I find that planning nice things after a known "yuck" date is really helpful for me to concentrate on.

Hi Em yes I know exactly what's going on with the surgery and know their could be perment side effects. Its just the waiting. It was scheduled originally for the end of August and got postoned because of the coronavirus and now all of a sudden with a couple weeks notice booked me on for the 7th August.

I will be in for about 2 to 3 days depends if their is any complications I could be in longer.I probably won' be able to do much or feel like doing much for awhile afterwards.
