This worked quite well on another forum site.
It may float or sink on this one. We'll find out.
Don't ask what you will win being the last to post, it will be something useless.
But have a go anyway.
I'm last to post so far. Am I a winner?

My dogs were all hiding under and behind my lounge while I was sitting on my lounge enjoying the sounds of one of natures storms…rolling thunder is beautiful in the distance as it echos through the mountains….sharp sudden loud thunder makes me jump…the lightening makes me want to join my dogs hiding under the lounge…I would if I could😂…Imagine walking into a lounge-room and seeing 4 pair of shining eyes staring out from under the lounge..😂😂😂😂…
The cows across the road from me, don’t seems to notice the storm….they continue to munch on the grass, while getting washed by the heavy rain falling…taking no notice of the bright flashing lightening or loud crackling thunder….Now that’s definitely an example of mindfulness…cow’s minds are fully focused on eating and enjoying the grass…I wonder if different grasses have different flavours…I think they would have…
I’m going to curl up under the doona I found here and wait out the storm…I might even sleep here tonight..

Hello everyone,…..🤗..
Yesterday my dogs were hiding under my lounge due to a thunderstorm in our area….all I could see was 3 pairs of eyes staring at me….poor fur girls…When I looked out at the cows across the road, they were munching away at the grass oblivious to the storm…not a care in the world except for enjoying some of mother earths pure shower to cleanse their skins and eating grass….a great example of mindfulness I think….I don’t see birds out in a storm much but do see them out and about feeding and sometimes playing in the puddles from the rain….they look so cute, not like my dogs….😂 after the rain they decide to walk only in the mud puddles…plenty of grassy areas for them but nope they miss that area and make a mess of themselves…
I am in here, whether it be a room or not…cleaning my 3 beautiful pooches, I’ll be here for a while….sitting and waiting for someone to show up and take over or help me wash, shampoo and condition my muddy but gorgeous fur girls…
hugs everyone..🤗🤗🤗

Hello Grandy
I have enjoyed your description of the cows eating grass & getting muddy again after the storm, & imagaining your furgirls under the sofa - seeing their eyes unter there.
Mekitty would hide under my bed when the thunder rolled. I'd have liked to fit under there with her, too sometimes. Once I thought it would be better to take her & I into the little storm room I have, because the storm ws so bad that day. That one had me truly frightened, thinking of windows breaking, or trees coming down ... sometimes having a vivid imagination is not so great.
In my haiku I was referring to the dogs a support worker I am going to have back again, too, has. Her dogs are Labrodors, so wouldn't fit under the lounge anyway. I had phoned her just as the storm was on it's way, & heard some of the thunder while we were talking. One of her dogs was trying to jump up onto her where she was sitting on the lounge. It wasn't enough to be next to her, but actually on her.
& I was thinking how bright flashes of light annoy my eyes, & it takes them several minutes to recover when there is a flash of lightning or a flash from a camera right in front of me. & then of the grass around here, which is already so dry in places it really is looking yellowed & browning. I know how quickly it will recover with just a litle rain, so the storms, bringing rain, do some good, too.
But, yeah, I'd be happy to suds up your furgirls. I might even wash your hair, too, if you like. & we'll give LRC a bath, too....
[LRC 💨dashes away leaping clean over the lounge & out the doggy door]
oops, I said the b-a-t-h word!
You were saying about your daisies & at the cafe? 🌼🌼🌼 I'd like some around here, as well as budding leaves & baby birds .... Really feels of LIFE.
Hugzies

*sigh*, Hello Allay, what a relief someone else is here!
It's really nice to meet you.
I imagine this place is a forest, with paths, hanging vines, clearings for the sun & for ponds, with riverlets supplying the fresh water, & flowing on again to water all the trees, bushes, & even the mushrooms & fungi beneath the forest floor. It keeps all the animals happy.
There is a place where we have a campfire, tents, too if you like.
What can you imagine for this place?

I think red lobsters have overflowed into here, too. They are clattering everywhere. Watch out, they can pinch toes really good.
Say, aren't they supposed to be some sort of horrible greenish colour until they are cooked? Just what kind of lobsters are these? Alien lobsters? Or raspberry lobster? Or tomato lobsters? Or chili lobsters?
Hmmm, I'll let someone elxe tackle them & find out which before I come down from my treehouse.
Hugzies, if you do
