As the last movie was a rather unpleasant one I thought I'd give one out of sequence for an alternative on DVD, being a gentle portrait of townsfolk and their dreams during a day in a small Welsh fishing village. It has no plot, just an understanding picture of the characters.

Dark City (1998)
A SF noir film starring Rufus Sewell, William Hurt and Kiefer Sutherland in a city that changes its character every midnight. A trendsetter, maybe an inspiration for the Matrix series.
