Hi White Knight
thanks for replying. I was actually meaning to ask if anyone has experienced severe restlessness to the stage where they feel so overwhelmed.

Yes - I have, and I suspect many others here have also. I went off meds a long time ago, my own decision. Although I feel the better for it, the restlessness remains. So much more to say, but I will leave it there. Suffice it to say, that you are not alone.

Hi thehiss. From what you say about the feeling of restlessness in your legs, it sounds like 'restless legs syndrome'. The pain in your legs would be unreal. The constant 'twitching' that is uncontrollable. It may be a side-effect from coming off the meds. I would have a talk with your Dr about it. If you never had the problem before you came off the meds, it could well be a side-effect. There are meds to control this. I used to take magnesium/calcium which is a natural, over-the-counter med. Most chemists stock it, it can also be purchased from health food shops. Like most AD's it can take up to about a week before it kicks in. See your Dr for sure, but if you want, give the magnesium a go. You have nothing to lose except restless legs.
