Hi Keckie,
I have a middle aged male friend who has experienced similar symptoms to yourself from time to time, and has had lots of tests that conclude he is physically healthy. He has depression and anxiety. It seems to affect everyone differently, personally I feel dizzy and lightheaded when I get anxious.
Tingling sensations in limbs can be the result of a pinched nerve - that's nothing serious, can be solved with physio exercises or massage. Not sure if this helps, but my head burns when I have an anxiety attack. My whole scalp feels weird and hot, and then it spreads to my back and chest. I've had hot, swollen hands before from handling washing powders or chemicals. Like me you might find switching to natural toiletries and cleaning products beneficial.
I think it's fine to visit the neurologist again, if I'm worried about my health I get checked out.
I don't think the alcohol would have been too detrimental to your long term health. I have recently gotten control over a 10 year binge drinking problem. The body does repair itself, and it can handle a little breakout now and then. I know what you mean about the guilt though, I'm all too familiar with that!
To soothe your worries for the moment I would suggest a good distraction - I like to watch telly, especially old British or Aussie comedy. You Tube has some entertaining clips too.
I hope you feel better very soon.

Hi Lana thankyou for your reply. Its comforting to hear others opinions. Tis rhythmic buzzing in feet is just go me so worried, before with the tingling although present majority of the time I could get some distraction from but this new feeling seems present non stop. I will re-visit the doc and think about contacting the neuro again.
Appreciate your post 🙂
