Hey Sueadele,
Thank you for posting here, we warmly welcome you to the forums. I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling, I can relate to the frustration of dealing with high anxiety in particular.
Have you been to a GP, therapist, or psychologist at all regarding how you're feeling? It can be really helpful to have some professional insight and support, if you'd be open to it.
How does your anxiety generally show up in your life? Is it a physical feeling, or is it racing thoughts? Does it come in the form of panic attacks? If you're willing to share some more, there may be more specific advice we can give from our own experiences with these.
And if I may ask, what have you already tried that you've found hasn't been overly helpful? This kind of insight can also help narrow down the advice that we give from our own experiences.
As somebody who struggled with anxiety particularly throughout my adolescence, I have a few general things that I've done that tend to help ease it in the moment. I'm always an advocate for journalling, it really helps you to make sense of difficult thoughts and talk yourself through things if you're struggling to work out what to do next. Talking to people around you has a similar effect, if there are loved ones you'd feel comfortable opening up to about how you're feeling. Social support can also serve as a reminder that you don't have to struggle alone, and that there are people around you who are happy to support you and hear you talk about what you're going through.
I hope this resonates with you, please feel free to keep talking with us if you'd like to share some more, we're here to support you.
All the best, SB
