Does anyone ever constantly hear voices from their past?
I often find my mind wandering back to my childhood or my past.
I hear my parents being angry or unhappy. It was very common when I was growing up. There were lots of arguments about things. Money was a common one. My parents didn't have a lot of money and it caused lots of shouting matches.

Hi SwansandSharksMan
I often hear the voices of my parents from the past, the good and the bad stuff. I lost my mum in Feb this year and often find myself recalling things she has said to me.
Sometimes I also hear myself saying things to my now adult children that my parents used to say to me.
I don't think we ever leave the past behind. It's always lurking in our minds.
Kind thoughts to you

Hi SwansandSharksMan,
I often have those memories too. Those moments can be a little jarring when they resurface. I often find it distracting.
I try to remind myself that those memories aren't happening Right Now although it sometimes feels like it... treat yourself with kindness. It's okay to be upset about the things that happened to you. It's important to acknowledge your past and move forward.
