I've had these feelings for over 20 yrs
basically I have a fear of dizziness faintness and I constantly monitor my body from the moment I open my eyes every waking moment I'm thinking about what if I feel dizzy unbalanced - and when I do feel dizzy I go into panic mode
I hate going around round abouts or sitting in chairs with wheels basically hate any sensations that make me feel off balance or cause dizziness - have had loads of tests have a few issues low iron levels and lowish blood pressure which obviously can cause dizziness would just like to not panic over these sensations
I take medication have been in this for 12years would love to get off my meds but can't cope with withdrawal
i don't panic over anything else just the feeling of dizziness unbalanced lightheaded
anyone else like this

Welcome to Beyond Blue and thank you for posting.
To answer your last question first, I don’t suffer from this, but I have read others on this site who have, so it might be worth putting dizzy feelings in the search engine to see if you’re able to locate fellow sufferers. From that, you may be able to pick up helpful tips or comments about what may have worked for others who suffer from this.
It is pleasing to read that you’ve at least had all this checked out and have gone through a number of tests and while it’s not good to have discovered low levels of iron and low-ish blood pressure; on the positive side, at least now you’ve hopefully got those two things under control with the use of medications.
I guess you’re already well aware of the sensation that a lot of us can go through if we say, get up too quickly of a morning out of bed – that dizziness will occur. One thing that I do have happen to me, is if I laugh too hard, I will get extremely dizzy and if I was standing, I would simply fall over. So I guess in a way, I do suffer from it, slightly. I just make sure that if I feel like I’m going to become dizzy after a big bout of laughing, and there’s no chair, I’ll just squat down and hold my head in my hands to settle things. It generally doesn’t last overly long.
I hope you’re able to find other posts (or perhaps others who will post to you here) who’ll be able to provide far better advice than I have for you.
Neil

Hi Knash
I have a HUGE fear of dizziness, I too cannot go on anything that could cause the spinning sensations. It's so bad sometimes that I cannot even go into shopping centres or restaurants because if I get dizzy I will panic and make a fool of myself, I won't even take medications that could make me feel light headed or dizzy. I get this room tilting sensation a lot ( like I'm on a boat or unbalanced ) and it can be really frightening. It's good to know that there is someone else out there who has the same fear!!
