Being a mum is hard work. There's no clock off time. But don't get me wrong I wouldn't change it for the world! But when I start to feel unwell or have things with my body go wrong I go into full anxiety attack mode and worry myself silly because it always ends with me thinking the worst like what if something happened to me, I'd never see my boy again. It is so crippling. Does this happen to anyone else?
Nothing has happened with my son yet, but I can only imagine I will be the same, if not worse if he ever had something happen!

hi and welcome to the forums.
firstly, you are right how it is hard work with no time off. We might look at other parents and think they have it all together. I have also spoken with friends (mothers) and wife included who felt they were not good enough. Whether you blame social media or society... does not really matter. Remember that you are being the best mum that you can. And your child loves you very much.
Before you had your child, did you worry about things? were others depending on you?
If you get those thoughts, you can remind yourself these are just thoughts. And when you have felt unwell you have gotten through it before. So while it might not happen to me what you describe, I have had anxiety and worried about my kids.
Are you part of a mums group or similar? my wife and friends created a small group many years ago. Perhaps a way of getting some support?
