Hi there and welcome to the forums. I hope you've been doing something nice for your holiday break. I'm enjoying my uni break, but don't go back til the end of the month 🙂
I have anxiety too, and I think a lot of the problem is we like to try and control things. So when things are up in the air and we don't know what's going on, it gets uncomfortable for us. Sometimes things seem to move at a glacial pace and the only thing we can do is wait until they're done. I wonder if your therapist gave you any advice or techniques that you could draw on now to relieve some of your worries?
Also, I'm not sure if it's the case here, but sometimes as mums we get busy and we don't really listen properly. I wonder if you can pick a time and sit down with your mum when she's not busy, and just let her know how important this is to you, and that you're feeling pretty worried. I also wonder whether there's a counsellor at the school you could talk to? They might be able to help you feel less anxious, and they may also be able to help you get some answers into what's happening with the scheduling.
I hope it gets sorted soon and you have a great start to the school year. I'm also here if you want to chat further, Kind thoughts, Katy
