Hi everyone, This section of the Beyond Blue Forums is a little different to the others, as you may have noticed in looking at the discussions. Elsewhere on the Forums, we discuss some pretty heavy topics: mental health issues, thoughts of suicide, trauma, abuse, relationship breakdowns. Here is the place to come to get away from that and have a bit of fun. Distraction can be an important tool to draw on if you're finding yourself overwhelmed by distressing thoughts and feelings. As this is a section for respite from heavier topics, we will relocate any discussions about heavier topics to a more suitable section of the Forums. Happy posting! Beyond Blue

There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here. Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ... So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ... Example:.....FEAR change 1 letter only....to make a new word.. ie: FEAR now becomes TEARS or YEAR... The letters of the word can be changed around to make a new word..by replacing one letter only.. ie:..LETTER..can become BETTER...or TESTER...by changing the letter L to S...and shuffling the letters around.. Once you change the word.your turn to select a new 4 letter word for someone else to change it.... Please don’t post a word unless you can change it.. No foreign words....No names of countries, cities, people, animals etc.only commonly used words... okay I’ll go fist..easy word to start with... ROSE... Who’s going to give it a try... Grandy..

Blended family, mum wants to leave our family and never come back again. Step dad doesn’t cook or care about the two children. Currently studying at a private school with 38000 fee each year, I always get A grades but mum is very sensitive and sentimental, some tiny things can cause her anxiety. We are going back to New Zealand in term holiday and she wants to send me back there with my biological father who abandoned me when I was 5. Please I need help, I don’t know. Let me start by saying over a year ago my life changed, then changed me and not for the better. Both of my parents passed within 5 weeks of one another. I moved across the country 4 days after my mother passed. Then I turned into a mess. Husband and I have been together since we were 20, so 25yrs and we have one child. I have become paranoid, checking both his work and personal phone every night when he is asleep. Looking for something, and I found it. A girl he indirectly works with. Nothing scandalous, yet I looked her up. Everywhere! She is blonde, thin and kind of pretty. She has brought my husband coffee from another office. Then I deep dived. Looked into her more. She has fake nose and further down if you get my drift. I then one night looked at his work ph google searches and up she pops with a provocative pic on LinkedIn. Just the one pic. I confronted him, so he knew I knew. He said I was jealous. Yet, somehow, after all of these years, I have NEVER questioned him or snooped until my parents passing. It’s almost as though something chemical changed in my brain. (He had an explanation for the search, which seems legitimate.) Anyway, I watch his every move. I watch him on ‘find my phone’ even though I know he is at work then straight home to me and our child. He went away overnight and I cried, and that was to another state 6hrs away back to back flights. Why? I never was like this. I have also found I hover over my son a little too much. Is this all related to my parents passing? I just feel angry all of the time and put on a good show when need be.
