Can you think of 5 things you noticed or observed in nature today, using all your senses?
I was wondering if this would be a beneficial exercise to help us focus on something else instead of painful emotions, troubled thoughts, over thinking, anxiety feelings and the darkness of that alone place.
As well as to see that there really is beauty all around us....

Ooh hello sweet m...
I am hoping you do not feel so grey now. But if you do, just know I care about you.
And watching the clouds simply drifting along in the sky is so peaceful. Especially the white fluffy ones.
I think tasting grey tea and veggies do count as they were once plants growing outside. Creation..

On sat' we went and had lunch with whales, can't get much more nature than that can u eh. Incredible creatures.
Today l mowed , and ;'m sorta cursing spring already because within a few days grass as thick as your finger has shot up 2 ft high around the edges of the fence.
So l need dory to come do some whippersnippering because mines busted.

Maybe you are in need of one of the sheep that Mrs D has eating all their grass or something if Dory cannot make it to whipper snip.
And wow that is awsome having lunch with whales. And how close to them were you? Like were you able to touch them? If so what did their skin feel like anyway?

The white parts of the Bougainville sounds really pretty inside a blue basket Quercus.
The mention of the huntsman spider reminds me of the times I used to collect the milk that was delivered into our large letterbox. The letterbox was near lots of trees. And often a huntsman was in the letterbox. So I would carefully peer in there and then quickly grap the milk out in hope it would not touch me.
Mmm stock flowers... they grow on like a tall stem don't they, and come in lots of colours? My dad use to grow those.

Hi Shelley,
Yep a shoe is about as close as I get to a big spider... I think you're brave putting your hand in at all!
And yes stock is on a tall stem usually (the ones I have are dwarf and are only about 30cm high). My favourite is white stock but I have bright pink and pastel pink and purple this year.

Ahh yessaa , it was shell. But nope , pretty close though none the less, they were only about 20mtrs offshore .
There was a guy on a board in the water about 10mtrs 10mts from them but these guys were 70 foot long and a flick of the tale would've been enough to send the surfer into orbit haha at that close.
l was thinking about getting a goat.he'd have to be on a tether though so that'd be a shame.

Hi everyone,
I'm sitting out on front veranda.
1... I can hear is the sound of my heart beating so hard and fast that i can feel my body shaking but I can taste a little bit of victory as i sit in the morning sun.
2.... I can see the cows directly accross from my yard I can hear them munching on the dry grass, it sounds like some one eating potato chips..
3...I can see , birds, bees, cows, i can hear wind howling as it goes through the trees making music only mother nature can make.

Good Morning Karen,
Are you taking some nice slow deep breaths there? It may help a little with the racing heart and such.
And what you are noticing sounds beautiful. Even the bees and the crunching sound of the cows eating the dry grass. Thankyou, as I can now see a cow and hear a crunching potato chip sound in my imagination. So I get to share a little into what you are noticing.
mmm victory for you for sure.
