I'm really trying to feel better about myself

I don't know where to start with this, there's so much in my head right now...

I've got nothing, but my cat...no job, no friends, far from a family priority etc. etc.

My mum died 10 years ago on 26.2 and I still miss her so badly, she was the only person I had who was in my corner. Everyone else (family, friends that currently aren't talking to me) say I play the victim and am all "woe is me"

My sister's said I look like a silverback gorilla and other such things. She's a bully who gets away with it all, because she's the favourite and "normal" (kids, married, no mental illness - although I have doubts about that last one). My dad's called me fat and said that "You're bent like your mother" (she was bipolar). He lives with me and getting him to do anything is such a battle, he doesn't feel like paying the rent, so it's left to me, goes to work when he feels like it, helps my sister with her house but won't with me etc. etc. etc....I could go on and on with them!!

I have a GP and a psychologist that I should go back to (sessions are free and they're within walking distance), but I wonder if it's worth it when my psychologist said me running an instagram account for a celebrity is me living in fantasy land

I won't write any more, because I can't see anyone replying. I've got nothing and nobody and just want to forget...

Hi Narelle,

Well done, you star, you did it! Whoop, Whoop!!

I am so proud of you. That was a great step, I can't stop smiling. I might even try for a little dance... 🙂 🙂 🙂

I may have done it, but I can't seem to relax. I'm in bed and everything.

I've got someone coming on Saturday morning and I'm so nervous and im

I'm dreading them seeing where and how I live

Why did I bother doing all this?! Ugh!

Hey Narelle,

This is just one of those negative reactions that your brain is in the habit of creating for you. Why not instead say come up with a new mantra e.g.

I am proud of my work, improving my life and I deserve a good life filled with love and happiness

Or something similar...

Celebrate success my friend, don't let your head monsters pull you down!

Hugs, xx

It definitely is...but I'm feeling a bit better after a nap

Still kind of dreading it, but they can think what they like, we're not friends or anything.

Hopefully by this time next year, things will be different

Fantastic Narelle,

I am pleased that you are feeling better after a nap too. Your are not friends your their client. They should be smooching to you! Anyway who cares what anyone else thinks, it's their business not yours (grin).

Not hopefully they will be better next year. Things will be better next year! A year is along time and things that seem so close right now will be, well, a year away!

Head high, hugs, xx

Nodding along in the background to Wednesday's awesome support.

Thinking of you Narelle xx

Great to hear you're feeling a bit better after your nap 🙂

Lockie in my photo just loooves to play whenever we wake up. So much so that he forgets we haven't woken up yet and...well, then we're awake and he gets what he wants anyway! Happy to lend him to you!

Thanks James 🙂

I have to call one of the guys today and I already feel sick about it and my hands are shaking...how can such a mundane life task be so trying???

Oh well...here goes...

Just don't forget: they're not your friends. They don't matter 😉
