Relationship with psychological abuse . How to end up?

Hi.

Im scared to end up our nearly 3years relationship. We set up a date for wedding, but I’m not feeling it’s the right decision. I’m getting more and more depressed.

I tried to end up our relationship before , but my fiancé always stopped me firstly saying that he will change but recently he is threatening me to sue financially, by saying that all his friends from interstate booked their accommodation, and he would not let it happen. Also he won’t let me get my belongings from his house, saying that he will call police on me.

Thanks. I don’t know what to do.

Goodness, sounds like you are not in a good place. Firstly, you should not marry anyone you do not want to marry. Secondly, if i were you I would talk to the police and find out what you can and can't do re your belongs etc. Lastly, i suggest you start your own thread so more people will find you and help out. This is more of a social/fun thread but i am so glad you found it and posted. To start a thread select the 'All posts' tab and then 'Depression' or 'Family and Relationships' depending on which you feel better suits your issue. Then on your right select 'new thread' and go from there. If you have any problems post back and we will guide you.

I too would like to suggest that you start up a thread of your own, that way you will receive a lot more assistance and longer messages from people. Like CMF mentioned, if you have trouble doing this, let us know and we can help you.

CMF has offered some good advice, go to the police yourself or telephone them to see what can be done.

Hi Lana.....CMF is spot on with her advice with your belongings.....the police would be a great start to retrieve your own property. From what you have mentioned getting married isnt a good idea.

Just had a thought, I'm from S.A. so when will it be midnight in W.A. S.A. time and how far in front are the other states? Daylight savings and time zones confuse me! Ha. Ha.

Brisbane so I think we get it last because Queensland doesn't have day light savings.

Ffnally stopped procrastinating and booked the family a 4 day 3 night sample cruise for Febrary. First decent family holiday ever. Under the 1k budget hubby set for the 3 of us as well😁😁😁.

Will be checking in on and off all night. Thunderstorm just starting here.
