Love the 80s soundtrack Paul.

I usually dislike New Years Eve. Have never really got into it and for me I usually feel down and a bit hopeless.

This year we actually have plans (usually hubby works and the kids sleep and I am alone). We're taking the kids to a rodeo. I've never been to one. Am looking forward to it.

I love "Come on Eileen" even if it's played to death. Can that go on the playlist too?

I will be looking after my Chow Chow German Shep cross as there will be a huge amount of firecrackers that will go off even though they illegal here in Vic.

Paul if crackers are illegal then why do so many councils break the law every year by putting on fire work displays all over the place. Costing heaps when the hospitals need more funding. We need more housing. The list goes on and on. Yet we still pay for it, and the animals still get scared then they tell us their ones are legal and ours aren't what a crocodile. Or are we being nanny stated still.

Me I will proberbly listening to some Angles, Chisel, Oils, Bee Gees, then throwing the cat a bone, and a saucer of milk, and a fish for the dog.

It's funny how those games on facebook can seem so true. Just did one based on your name of "how will you end 2017?" Mine came back with a sad face with "alone as always". It is true but horrible as well. I'm ending the year alone, not in a relationship. Maybe this time next year, who knows? Valentine's day is coming up fast, not a fan.

I will be watching the fireworks on tv and then head to bed. That's how I will see in the new year, alone in my bed. Sad, but true.

Princess Belle, I'll be the same most likely here on the forums too. I'm not a fan of Valentine's Day either. Some of us are going to go outside and look at the moon at midnight . I was looking for an online place for NYE. I'll most likely be home but have been thinking about going for a drive early in the evening. I'm looking forward to 2018. There have been a lot of challenges this year with personal growth but I feel I am slowly learning to do whats best for me.

Happy New Year's Day and New Year's Eve Everyone!

We have invited some friends over tonight and one lot of neighbours as well. We still don't know if everyone will show up, if they do that will be great, if they don't I will just hope they are okay and there will be more food for me! Ha. Ha.

For those of you staying home and maybe alone, I do wish you all the best for the evening. I hope you find a sense of peace and hope, that you can reflect on the year that has been and have a sense of newness for the coming year.
