Hey Everybody! Christmas is the time of year to enjoy & share with family & friends. Some people will spend this time alone & isolated too!
This is a safe place where people can post and say hello, chat or send wishes to others and have a 'Virtual Christmas/New Years'!
Whether you have plans for Christmas/New Years or having a quiet one you can kick back and just enjoy company of others. Its been a long year. Even if you have never posted on Beyond Blue before you are very welcome to come in and sit around our 'Virtual Christmas Tree' and chat 🙂

CMF my goal for the next year is a hard one This year I made none But still managed to quit smoking. Was not easy but still achieved. Now for this year it's Drive myself mad MAD I tell you Mad. my goal is just to get backout there into a real life.

It sounds like you have a good realistic plan for next year. The advantage is when you review how you went you can decide. Hey this has really helped I'll keep going or It is helping but perhaps I could change something to be even better or maybe it doesn't work & you try something better. Much better than something set in concrete were you might fail & then feel worse.

I'll watch the fireworks with my dir & family at her MILs place. That way we have a pleasant relaxing evening & get to see the fireworks with my grandkids.

Kanga, didn't know you had quit smoking. I should have realised you weren't popping into the cafe for your morning coffee and ciggie. Well done to you!

Elizabeth, watching the fireworks with your grandkids and you daughter sound great. I can usually see the city fireworks from the front of my house so might pop out and have a look.

Came across this today;

On January 1, turn all your hangers backwards. It only takes a minute. When you wear anything put it back normal.

In June you'll be able to see everything you don't wear. Unless you have a reason to save it, donate it.

I hear you Country Music Festival about the closet and turning the hangers backwards. You have the same philosophy as I do....If I haven't worn it in 2 years.....its donated to charity......:-)

Moon mentioned on her thread that she will be alone at midnight on NYE. I've told her I will be with her and asked if she would like to join me in looking at the moon at midnight as she has mentioned in the past that no matter where we are we all look at the same moon. It unites us.

Therefore, I am extending that offer to anyone who is alone or feeling lonely on NYE. Let's all look at the moon together at midnight. Doesn't matter about time differences between all of us I'm sure we will have company in ourcrespective time zones. Just know that we have all shared something on NYE.
