Glad you've sorted out the email business Mark. Does the school provide their own occupational therapist or what do they expect you to do? What happens to your private OT if you can't have her at the school? Does she assist at home at all?
They are really all making you jump through a lot of hoops aren't they- and all you're trying to do is get your son set up for high school!

Hi Hanna we usually see the OT in town, sometimes has come to the house and to the primary school but high school won't allow the head of special needs said.I think they might have their own OT that comes to the school. So much I really have to take in and remember.

Busy time for you Mark, getting your son ready for school. I hope the school's OT is a good one then.
Sorry for the late response I've been a bit sick with a virus so not up to doing much.
There are some lovely dogs available on the local rescue sites, all big ones unfortunately - they have such sad stories, I wish I could take them all home with me!

Hi Mark,
Horrible day here today, so hot in the 30s with over 90% humidity and I have no air conditioning... everyone is complaining about how hot and humid it is - can't do much in this weather, stayed in the library for a while because it's air conditioned. Meeting another lady I ran into the other day who moved here from a cold part of Queensland and who is also feeling the humidity here!
Looks like a quiet afternoon with two fans going!

Hi Mark, I've been having difficulty getting the Reply button to work! What day does your son start school again?
It's not bad here, a lovely cool breeze late yesterday and a cool night - today warm but now a breeze again - it finally feels a little bit like summer is gradually going to fade out... although I'm sure February will be hot.
I've been invited to stay with a friend back in the central west for a while - I'm figuring out when is best to manage this, it would be nice to catch up with some people there but it's a long trip!
Not much happening today - I bought a cd of a flautist I have heard of from an Op Shop for two dollars - I looked it up on Ebay after I got home and it's selling for around ninety dollars! I think I should put it up on Ebay myself, I'd make quite a profit on my two dollar spend - but it's so beautiful I'm happy to keep it!
Otherwise not much news - was having a cuppa this morning at a local Cambodian restaurant and the people at the next table were having lunch and the food smelt wonderful! I have decided I will definitely shout myself a lunch there one day next fortnight! It has a reputation for good food.
Is your daughter still at the RSPCA?

Hi Mark, so your son starts school tomorrow, is that correct? Wow the holidays went by fast. Is he very anxious about it, or looking forward to it - or a bit of both?
There's not much news here, the usual holiday weekend here with lots of people holidaying and enjoying the beaches. The cafes are flat out and the motels are all booked up - so it's good for the business people. I will be glad when they go home and there is less traffic and busyness!
I bought a music cd of a woman who plays flute that I had heard of in one of the op shops here the other day for two dollars. I looked it up when I got home on Ebay and would you believe the asking price for this particular cd is around ninety dollars! Wow, if I put it up for sale myself on Ebay that would be a pretty substantial profif on my two dollars - but I am keeping it as I love it! Sometimes the Op Shops really do have good bargain!
