Does anyone else have children with special needs.I am struggling with mine.My youngest cant use a toilet when their at the age they should be.I am getting tired of changing them, does that make me a bad parent? The constant hyperepisodes are taking their strain especially that i am going through other personal stuff in my life

Hi sleepy I had four chickens and this one was quiet and easy to pick up and hold.He seems ok at the moment. With Autism they don't show much emotion at times. He wants a lamb now as when he was at his mother's just down the road had baby lambs.I had a couple many years ago.

Hi Mark, that is beautiful that he connects to the chickens and it js nice that he had that particular calm one as a favourite.

I am glad for him that he has animals around, they are so healing.

The boy I babysat was very naughty at school so his parents got him chooks to calm down. Although at school he was out of control he was so gentle with the chooks and like Ur son he really enjoyed picking picking up and putting them in their home.

My daughter has a job interview Thursday at some boarding kennels 40 minutes from here.I am so anxious and excited for her as she really wants this job and would be really good for her she got it.I feel so nervous for her like I am going to the interview myself.

My daughter has confirmed her job interview by phone and in the process discovered she can't make calls on her phone. She should be able to but can't.I leant her my phone to ring. Her anxiety levels are so high at the moment.Shes pacing up and down and breathing heavy.I told her to try doing some yoga and breathing exercises.

Hi my daughter's interview went well but the guy was worried she lived 40 minutes away .He said he had others to interview and will let her know if he wants her to come in for a trial.I feel bad I live so far away but that is going to be the story for all jobs shevapplys for.My first job when I was 16 was one and half hours away and two busses and didn't stop me.

Hi Mark

I wander if maybe it's a sign that they'll want her to co,e jn a lot on short notice....I think it's cool she got an interview so qui k and is learning about the process of applying for jobs. It helps to have a parent support u through that experience

I couldn't take my daughter to the interview today as I wasnt feeling to crash hot after my booster yesterday and could hardly get out of bed so I got her mother to take her or I would have if I could have.

Hi Mark

I used to drive almost an hour and a half to work through peak hour traffic in the city for years! 40 minutes in the country is OK! I hope she does get the job!
