Dear All
The purpose of this thread is as a meeting point for those that can’t sleep and it is late (I.E. AFTER midnight.)
It can be a useful space for users to share their issues with insomnia as well as coping strategies. It can also be a general space for users to converse and support one another throughout a difficult night.
Please note – for those that are just bored or lonely we already have a place - the BB Café, which I recommend instead of here

weve been in lockdown in victoria for nearly two weeks, depending on case numbers tomorrow, we are meant to be "freed" tomorrow at 11:59pm
It's been open, a bit boring, and a little bit cold. Ive got a sniffly nose although feeling a bit better, tryign to stay warm but in the mornings I wake up freezing. Stay safe harpbird and all nightowls

Evening all, how are you? Hope you are well. Apologises for the fact I have been M.I.A as of late.
I baked some bread yesterday without a bread maker. What have you all been up to?

quirkywords said:Oh I relate big time. I've noticed that no matter how I felt during the whole day, around about 8pm I start feeling a bit nicer and a lot more awake. 8pm onwards I am a better person, lol.I wonder why I am tired all day but at bedtime when I need to sleep I am wide awake.
can anyone relate.?
I put it down to discovering as an adolescent that whilst everyone else is asleep the world is a much quieter and safer place.

Hi PF what type of breag, did it have seeds or grains in it.? Was it tasty.
DnG when I was a child I went to then do my driveway and with my neighbour , we looked across to the valley and thought those people sleep while we are awake. Those people were in next syburb!! That was my understanding of time zones!!
