Dear All
The purpose of this thread is as a meeting point for those that can’t sleep and it is late (I.E. AFTER midnight.)
It can be a useful space for users to share their issues with insomnia as well as coping strategies. It can also be a general space for users to converse and support one another throughout a difficult night.
Please note – for those that are just bored or lonely we already have a place - the BB Café, which I recommend instead of here

And the clock has struck past midnight, the Owls flutter away to the noise.
Hoot toot.
What's your favourite piece of software I ask random people?

Hi, I hope everyone is well. I'm really struggling right now and I'm in a very bad place. I had a medical test today and there's more bad news. I'm not sure how much more I can take.
I was hoping that maybe if I talked to someone it might help but I have no one so I'm reaching out here, no pressure though. I know that others are struggling as well so I don't want to be a burden to anyone.
I'm outside in the freezing cold as I just want to feel numb and safe. I think it's about 1degree. I will try to stay out here as long as I can. I hope you all have a great nights sleep.
Regards,
Emo.

Hi Sophie_M,
You are always so kind and supportive. I don't deserve your concern. You shouldn't bother with me.
I just keep sitting here and staring at the road and thinking maybe I should make everyone happy and just do it. The last person who truly cared about me is gone. Maybe I'm just speeding up what will happen to me anyway if I stay where I live? I just don't want to be hurt anymore.
Regards,
Emo.

Hi Lillylane,
I'm so sorry for my late reply but I've been going through a lot so I've been trying to focus on just keeping going.
My medical issues have gotten worse so I'm trying to sort them out while in lockdown. I hope you are going OK with the current situation.
I appreciate your support and concern, thank you.
Regards,
Emo.

Hi quirky, you had been asking about magnesium.,
I've been taking a nightly supplement which has valerian and magnesium, and licorice root
It doesnt do much, but sometimes its a little soothing. It's my favourite natural remedy i've sampled thus far
