Dear All
The purpose of this thread is as a meeting point for those that can’t sleep and it is late (I.E. AFTER midnight.)
It can be a useful space for users to share their issues with insomnia as well as coping strategies. It can also be a general space for users to converse and support one another throughout a difficult night.
Please note – for those that are just bored or lonely we already have a place - the BB Café, which I recommend instead of here

Hey Lillypilly (and a wave to Mark and all)
I Googled "female energy moon gardening" and there's a beautiful explanation of Moon Gardening & it's relationship with women's energy there according to Ancient Wisdom. I had to go down about 5 websites and click.
There are so many Women's Ceremonies according to Moon cycles which are full of female energy and fun to be part of!
Yes there's the other form of Moon Gardening Mark was referring to being the best time to plant, harvest, everything.
SO much of Biodynamics, even to the exact time of when to plant things with certain leaf shapes according to the cycles of that specific planet that reflects the same shape, is knowledge that's so fun to learn about!
I completed a Biodynamic Certificate many years ago.
Don't use the knowledge much nowadays but "intuition" is what Steiner emphasised the most.
We have an 2021 Astrological Calendar that talks about all those Ideal times for gardening jobs and also what's happening in the world. It's quite beautiful really.
I put it behind the loo door and everyone gets a kick out of reading it lol.
Hope you all have a restful night tonight!
Love EM

I was hoping my washing machine was going to come today but it didn't.I have been washing things by hand, not real good.Hopefully it comes Monday.I ordered a part for my motorbike from the USA and it took less then a week to get here and when I order things in Australia they take forever to get here.Go figure.
I hope I can get some proper sleep tonight after a couple of bad nights.
Take care,
Mark.

Dear EM
Mrs C tells me males can only think of /do one thing at a time, and that naturally superior womanhood has no such limitations.
If I had any doubts you are living proof Mrs C is correct, mind you I might not admit as much to her.
Adding moon gardening to the already massive number of conversations, activities and thoughts brought all this to mind. A juggling act to admire.
You asked how I was, well shortly I'm about to find out about another idea in a couple of weeks, that in a blood transfusion one tends to acquire the characteristics of the downer, so I'm hoping it is a nice quiet librarian and not Hannibal Lecter.
It's not as serious as it sounds, just an attempt to regain energy and sharpen my thinking, both of which I'd welcome. Contrary to your prescription elsewhere I'm not sure a new hairdo cuts the mustard with a walrus

Hi Lillylane,
Thank you for your kindness and supportive words. I hope you are starting to feel a bit better after your illness. I hope everyone on this thread is sleeping comfortably tonight I know what a lack of sleep can do to someone.
I'm not doing very well right now. I found out that I didn't get the job which has upset me more than I thought as I guess I saw getting the job as a fresh start and be free.
We've also just started lockdown as I live in Victoria. It's broken my heart as I'm now stuck in the house I live in.
I've also been told by my husband that I'm not allowed to apply for other jobs as I think he was worried about me getting my own money so that I could leave him.
I know other people are in worse situations than me so I should be more grateful to my husband for letting me stay in the house. I guess I owe him.
Regards,
Emo.

Hi Ecomama, (Hi everyone else as well)
Thank you for your kind words regarding my interview, it's so nice to think that someone cares. Everyone on these forums are so very kind.
Unfortunately I didn't get the job. I'm pretty upset about not getting it, more because of what it means as I have lost the ability to make money to help me to leave my current situation.
I'm not sure what to do next. Please say hello to your little poodle. That's so cute of him to say hi to me like that. I love poodles, I always have, they look so cute. I'd have a girl one so I could put bows on the dog and a pink tutu or a very understanding boy one lol.
I've been spending time catching up on the things going on in your life in your posts. I'm amazed how strong you are for yourself and your whole family. You are one amazing person, I wish I was just like you. Thank you. Have a great weekend.
Regards,
Emo.

I have followed you since U joined. I just wanted to say you owe him nothing.
After everything he has put you through why would you feel others have it a lot worse than you.
From my perspective it can't get much worse.
Please be realistic.
I hope you are still looking for a refuge somewhere, where you can be away from all the abuse and start again.
I am personally still extremely concerned for you.
Bad luck with the job. But good on you for braving the interview despite all your personal obstacles.
I hope you can still find safety somewhere.
Good luck.

Dear Mark, crazy about the difference in delivery times lol. Yep, done my share of hand washing erghhhh I empathise with you Mark! Praying for your washer to come asap! 🙏🙏
Hey Croix, you're very over complimentary. I'm interested in SO many things! Some things I've done would make your tusks curl lol, those secret women's groups are soul soothing.
I hope the blood transfusion brings a fresh wave of healing! Send that "quiet Librarian" energy lol... have you seen the Japanese studies of thoughts / energy changing water?
Dearest Emo, I share deep concern for you and your situation as monkey does (and all of us I'm sure). I echo everything monkey said. Sorry you didn't get that job, hugs.
In truth your H cannot ACTUALLY control what you do, whether you leave etc. I understand the situation, I've been in very similar myself.
It was the hardest thing I've ever needed to do, it really was, but it was a life saving decision to end it once and for all.
I'm sorry you're in another lock down now. I really hope H is asleep most of the time.
One thing I did whilst "stuck" was to Visualise my life after I got out. In detail. Every little thing.
I'd absorb my mind during the worst of it, probably dissociate alot, but I'm living those dreams now.
Even if you write your dreams down HERE. Feeling them, drawing them to you, it's possible to have what you want. It's not possible to have what you want without thinking about it.
Never underestimate the power of your thoughts Emo.
They're powerful just like YOU are powerful.
Hey monkey, LOVE your work! Hope you're doing well sweetheart.
Love EM
