I am so angry at the moment, I cannot speak. I tried throwing everything around in my bedroom in the clinic, now I'm out for a walk, march or tantrum whatever you wanna call it!
Neil1 I've missed you and others here, but I could not stay on the forum.
Love, Yggy

Hello Charley. Or are you in fact my old friend Yggy? I'm a little confused now.
I often wonder how you are going Yggy, and I worried for a long time because we didnt hear from you. Then I just hoped that you were doing so well that you didnt need any of us any more. That you were trying to start all over with a fresh slate.
I dont know what is going on for you currently Yggy, but it sounds like things are not that great. Would you like to talk a little more about whats been happening for you lately? Is there anything in particular that is making you so angry?
I hope your walk settled you down a little and that you now feel a little more calm than you did earlier. A big hug to you, my friend.

Hi Yggy,
Sherie has given you a wonderful welcome back already. I am sorry to read you are doing it tough. You wrote that you are in a clinic. Would you like to share more about where your journey has taken you recently?
I too hope the walk has helped you. Letting go of frustrations and built up anger through exercise does help.
Sometimes I am so angry, I don't even know where the anger comes from.
Guess you were a bit past the counting to one hundred or taking deep breathes ideas?
Really hope you are okay.
Cheers for now from Mrs. Dools

Hi Sherie and Mrs Dools,
good to see you! How are you doing?
Like I said I needed a break and was hoping to sort things out somehow - unsuccessfully. I'm now an inpatient and getting good care. Eventually I just could not cope anymore.
Love, Yggy x

Hi Yggy,
Life certainly can throw you a curve ball or two especially when you least expect or need it.
I have PTSD, Depression, Anxiety and Panic Attacks ....its a very fine juggling act to keep on top of each of these illnesses.
I have had my illnesses for over 4o years - all my life.
It has taken me along time to come to terms with my illnesses and many a time I fell off the proverbial hill tumbled to the bottom and dusted myself off and climbed up again, again and again.
Its not easy but nothing in life is truly easy....it takes momentous effort on our part every single day just to function with a degree of normality - our normal is most certainly different from others.
What works for us may not work for someone else, that's why we must persevere.
Just a little slower, at your own pace and not expect, demand or want to much from ourselves.
Because all your hard work will backfire and you will have to start again, that sucks big time.
Yggy, Its about finding that happy medium where you can cope with each day, in a happy positive way.
Try channeling your anger into something positive that will give you a sense of pride, pleasure and enjoyment.
I found gardening helps, my minds active so I don't have to dwell on the negative things for a while at least and my hands are busy in a positive way chasing worms and weeds around the garden bed...
Before the PTSD, Anxiety and Panic Attacks I use to enjoy gardening but fear controlled my days and I couldn't go outside....once I learnt to control it not allow it to control me I could get out of the house and start living again.
I forget that I had a life before these illnesses that was still there for me to enjoy again.
Its in all of us we just have keep searching, never ever give up or give in to the illness no matter how hard it gets find just one positive reason to go on and build to two, then three.
Like my friend Winston Churchill wrote in his book The Black Dog it will sit on your couch, be your friend, you can pat it but watch out it will bite you if you let it or something like that.
So I harnessed that black dog and keep a tight leash on him everyday.
Never do I allow him to run loose, I'm in control and with that thought in mind I cope with life to best that I can never mind what other people say or think....my mind, my body, my life.
Best of luck Yggy

Nice to hear back from you Yggy. I didnt think there could possibly be 2 Yggy's! How come the name change?
I'm okay, and thanks for asking. Many downs, but thankfully some corresponding ups. But I think I can finally see some overall improvement.
I'm pleased to hear that you are getting good care now as an inpatient in a clinic. I know you never wanted to go down the line of becoming an in-patient. I'm sure that was a difficult decision to make, but in the end probably the only decision you could make if you were not coping.
The BB Cafe is still a busy little metropolis, with many new customers. You may find it all too busy, and I totally understand that. But if you ever feel like a bit of company, there will be some of your old friends there to give you a very warm welcome back. And many newcomers I would love to introduce you to. But that can wait .........
Have you been in the Clinic for long Yggy? And do you have any idea of how long you are likely to be there for?
Anyway the important thing is that you are being well cared for, and hopefully they are coming up with some solutions to get you right again.
My kindest thoughts are with you Yggy. Sending a big hug through cyberspace to you.
Love Sherie xx

Hi Ashwa,
Thanks for sharing your amazing post with us all. I'm going through a bit of a downer myself at present. Your words have greatly encouraged me.
I would like to suggest that you copy and paste what you have written here and create your own thread under the Staying Well section, maybe under a title like "Offering hope to others". I feel that so many people would greatly benefit from reading your words.
How do you feel about this?
I know this post has been started by Yggy and I don't want to hijack it here by going off on a tangent, I really think your words are so beneficial to more people than those who will read this thread alone.
Thank you for your inspiration and re direction Ashwa!
Hugs to you from Mrs. Dools

Hi Yggy,
Hopefully you are receiving the help and assistance that you need right now in the clinic.
My hospital stays helped me immensely. My Dr. had talked about sending me to a clinic, but it didn't end up happening. I was very disappointed at the time as I really needed more help than he or the irregular visits at the psychologist could give.
One of my friends was in a mental health ward decades ago, I was actually jealous because she was learning basket weaving...that is something I had wanted to try as well as pottery.
When I had my two weeks in the mental health ward, there were no craft classes or activities at all. One of my girlfriend's came in with a basket full of craft stuff she shared with anyone who was interested in joining us. We had to get permission to have scissors though!
I really do hope it is going well for you, as well as it can anyway.
Cheerio for now, cyber hugs to you from Mrs. Dools
