Hi Katy,
I am sorry. What happened to your kitty, how old was she/he? When did it happen? Have you had any company today, someone to be with you/talk with you/comfort you?
Our pets don't live long enough, it's so horrible to lose our dear beloved companions... especially those of us who live alone and they give us such love and non-judgmental company.
I wish I could think of something to help you... but I will pop by and see how you are... I hope you have a friend or someone to turn to there..
You know we all care about you here and we all love our pets so we understand how devastating this is....
Biggest hugs dear Katy oxoxoxoxo

Hello Katy,
Oh I'm so sorry lass... you must be heartbroken... no matter how much we know it will come one day, it is still a shock when it happens... lass let yourself grieve as long as you need...
Was it your boy or your girl kitty?... If you want to share (& it helps even a little) your memories of kitty & it's life with you... know I am here to listen...
Gentlest of hugs

Sorry i didn’t acknowledge the lovely messages earlier, it’s been a hard day. Jack, it’s nice to see you pop in, I hope you’re going ok yourself. And Grandy thank you for your kind words too.
Poor kitty had not been himself, very lacklustre and sleeping a lot. I guess I thought he’d perk up again. But he was very old and skinny. The vet said too skinny and something must be going on. I decided it was time for him to rest.
Id like to think he’s up there reunited with our old doggy, who he hasn’t seen for many years. And maybe there’s a little sprite girl happily playing with both.
I do worry about my other furs here. Do they wonder where he is. I wish I could tell them so they wouldn’t worry. Sad day.

Hi Katy
That was a hard decision you had to make. It's wonderful that you did what was kindest for your pet, that is true love.
It's so hard when we lose our beloved pets. I'm sure the other furs wonder where kitty is. It's so hard we can't talk to them, at least not in words.
Big hug for being so brave and caring. I'm truly sorry.
Maybe that little girl is looking after kitty for you. Why not?
🐱💞💖🌹

Hello Katy,
The image of Zea playing with kitty & your old dog is so beautiful...
You showed your love for kitty letting him go... your other furs will miss him... they might show it... they might not... but they will become accustomed to him not being there... possibly even before you do.
Gentlest of hugs lass

Hello
Well the girl cat seems ok after having some kind of weird panic attacks the other day. That was pretty stressful.
Warm yesterday so I took the board out. Storm was cross at me for not taking her, but I knew everywhere would be busy being so warm and people wanting to be outdoors. Difficult even social distancing at the beach I went to!
Im still not vaxxed, so I had to decline catching up with two uni mates. I didn’t want to tell them why, because some people are weird about it, but if you’re not vaxxed you can’t go anywhere. I’m booked in for the 25th if I don’t chicken out, but even that feels far away.
Oh what a weird world we’re in, and everyone else has been dealing with this for a long time. Boy I hope things get better this year.

Hi Katy, you're welcome...
It is a shock and scary with all the new cases....I remember I was down about it when I already had poor mh, and the timing sometimes felt like another added awful layer.
I'm sorry u feel alone. Sending a hug and hoping u feel better.

Hello Katy,
Woofa has offered to gallop over to your place... with a couple of giant pink lamingtons & some raspberry lemonade... he isn't vaccinated either so he will have to swim that bit around WA's border with the goodies balanced on his head... he is practicing his seal noises so he can stealthily come ashore near you without being spotted... the goodies will be disguised as a fish so no-one wonders about a seal carrying lamingtons...
Once off the beach he will galumph with such grace no-one will be suspicious about him being there... you will know he has arrived when you hear "gentle" tapping at your front door (& your house starts shaking with each tap)... he would appreciate it if you move all breakables over head height while he is there... for his safety because for some unknown reason they do have a habit of exploding whenever he passes (rumours that it is his tail or big feet causing it are completely unfounded he promises)
He also has some surprises in his goodie bag... the fish he used as disguise is for kitty... the giant floatie he used to swim with is for Miss Storm... the goodie bag can be opened up to become a wading pool for you & Stormy to splash about in... plus he has saved up lots of his nose bops just for you...
He will also pass on some gentle hugs from me
