Yeah I had two phone calls just today while I was at work, im happy to take them I don’t like knocking back customers but I just let them know it won’t be a quick turn around, all locals so looking for to support other locals which is nice. Had a young guy drop his board off to me tonight, by young I mean really not that much younger than me I don’t think. He was really cool, I showed him the other boards I’d made. I like to give detailed information about what I’m doing to the board not just fixing it and handing it back, if they are interested I tell them what I’m going to do and why, that’s important.
I’ve written down what I have to do for each repair and when I hope to have it done by. The only issue I am running into is I can’t do a particular step at our house I have to go elsewhere to do it which is fine but it gets a bit more difficult, transporting half made boards etc.
