I was wondering what are your go to songs you listen to when depressed?

Mine is anything Elton John, particularly Don't let the sun go down, i guess that's why they call it the blues, Rocket man., something about the way you look tonight. Anything Delta Goodrem..Sinead O Connor, nothing compares. All cried out by Allure. Flawless by Delta goodrem, Heavy by Delta Goodrem, Life by Delta, Fragile by Delta. Mistaken Identity by Delta.

I listen to my sad songs, drink and normally cry.

What songs do you listen to depressed?

Hey, does anyone feel happy listening to sad music, or is it just me? Personally, I'm a Lewis Capaldi and Alec Benjamin fan. Ed Sheeran is awesome too.

Love Lana Del Rey!!!! She has a song for every mood.

hi there redblue

good point

i like ed sheeran the shape of you

and his song with Justin Bieber "i dont care" which has a bit of a social anxiety theme.

i find overly happy songs cliched and depressing.

Sometimes, depends on my mood. I'm currently listening to Perfect, by Ed Sheeran.

Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles

Dance Me to the End of Love by Leonard Cohen

You have to smile when you listen to these two songs! ☺️

Yeah agree w you re The Cure David n Goliath. The entire Disintegration album used to be a go-to for me. These days I avoid it and default to the less depressing yet equally as intense Seventeen Seconds album. Nick Cave also makes me indulge in depression although at other times his music lifts me up.

A good mix of certain 80's hits is always great too.

Hurt or I See a Darkness by Johnny Cash. Both can bring you down or lift you up.
