Hey Everybody! Christmas is the time of year to enjoy & share with family & friends. Some people will spend this time alone & isolated too!
This is a safe place where people can post and say hello, chat or send wishes to others and have a 'Virtual Christmas/New Years'!
Whether you have plans for Christmas/New Years or having a quiet one you can kick back and just enjoy company of others. Its been a long year. Even if you have never posted on Beyond Blue before you are very welcome to come in and sit around our 'Virtual Christmas Tree' and chat ๐Ÿ™‚
You asked for this Paul here it is for all.

Hi All,

Just posted and noticed a few more people have popped in.

Happy Recovery and Regrouping Day everyone!

A special Hi to Dools who seems to find a way of dealing with the most horrible situations & always finds a way to make us laugh. Hi to everyone else. I haven't been on the forums much as I have been ridiculously busy. Still need to organise my son's present. That is this weeks task. Trying to do it before Christmas wasn't going to work. Somehow I got the really essential things done & managed to shut the door on less important things eg messy study. Noone needed to go in there. Christmas lunch was nice & the weather was perfect for eating outside. Few minor problems & odd outburst from tired grandkids but not too bad. One of my grandsons was sick which spoiled things for him. I missed his normal cheeky playfulness. Have to catch up later & make up for it.

Today was a lazy day. Feeling rather unmotivated. I should be going to bed but got upset with husband & need to calm down. Something went wrong & I couldn't fix it but then frustration led to us getting upset with each other rather than situation. Both equally at fault but that just makes me feel worse because I can't just blame him.

Haven't seen our Blondeguy Paul for several days. I know ChristmS is not an easy time for him, hope he's ok.

i think I may take the tree down tomorrow. It's over and done with, no need for it anymore.

HI Elizabeth, CMF and All,

CMF, you are right, Paul has not been around for a while! I too hope that he is okay!

Paul, if you are reading this, CMF and myself are sending out greetings to you!

Elizabeth, my husband was not home for most of Boxing Day as he was out with a mate. I was feeling angry enough towards him and he wasn't even home! Ha. Ha. He and his mate sat up talking until 4.00 a.m. I have had very little sleep and still feel like I would like to be angry with him.

No point though, it will only make me feel worse! He doesn't have a clue! Ha. Ha.

I'm off tot he dentist today! Now that is a fun thing to do isn't it on the 27th of December. At least I am having an outing! Ha. Ha.

Cheers all from Dools

I am lucky this year. Like last year I didn't have to bother even putting up a tree or taking one down. The worst bit was not having my kids about, still cannot get used to that. The rest of my family can have there turn all to themselves. I don't need their put downs. In the next life they will get theirs. No vengeance here that is below me I know I am better than they say I am.

Hi everyone. Just joined up here and have read a few posts. Wasn't sure where to start so jumped in here. Hoping to get to know and connect with others in this community.

Hi Dinkidie Artemisia and everybody ๐Ÿ™‚

Thankyou for being a part of the Christmas/New Years thread! If we didnt have new people posting the forums wouldnt exist.

Dinki....That really sounds like a crappy time especially with people feeling bored and being rude as well. I understand what you have been going through as spending the little money we have left to make others happy can be a huge let down. Not switching 'off' just means you have a kind heart and good on you

Artemisia.....Thankyou for taking the time (and the courage) to jump in an say hello! You are always more than welcome to post anywhere you feel comfortable or even create your own post if you wish ๐Ÿ™‚

CMF, Dools,ElizabethCP, Kanga and all the other super caring people on the forums...Thanks heaps for the super kind posts and understanding. Its either a summer bug or my immune system just fell apart just prior to the 25th....Doh!

Bear Hugs
