Hey Everybody! Christmas is the time of year to enjoy & share with family & friends. Some people will spend this time alone & isolated too!
This is a safe place where people can post and say hello, chat or send wishes to others and have a 'Virtual Christmas/New Years'!
Whether you have plans for Christmas/New Years or having a quiet one you can kick back and just enjoy company of others. Its been a long year. Even if you have never posted on Beyond Blue before you are very welcome to come in and sit around our 'Virtual Christmas Tree' and chat 🙂

Hey Velv

Always great to see you and thanks for saying hello too 🙂 You are always more than welcome and as often as you want. Any support is always a bonus

On the last page ChrisB placed a small post saying if anyone wants a Christmas song....he can embed it into the thread....and the deadline was late Thursday I think...

I didnt know he was going to put up both of my tracks (videoclips) 🙂 That was a bonus

Either way Velvet...please stick around....you always post very well. This thread is not all Jolly Jingle Bells....its also for heaps of people that find Christmas a difficult time of year too

Great to have you as part of the Beyond Blue forum family too 🙂

Happy Christmas VF. Paul

Hello Everyone,

Its only 2 days before Christmas the days are going quickly, The lead up now to Christmas Day will be hectic for some,

I woke up this morning and watched the sunrise to start a new day, it was a beautiful experience, a few white fluffy clouds floating in the blue sky became unique with a silver lining around the outer edges, I threw my troublesome thoughts away and listened and watched the sounds of the universe and nature, birds singing and flittering around, Kangaroos and cows grazing on the grass, trees standing tall and proud, tiny birds are in my bird bath playing with a life source for them, water.

This year I have decided that I'm going to be receiving a Christmas gift, that no amount of money can buy. It's going to be a gift from the universe to me.

Christmas evening around 5.30pm my gift will begin, I have to travel a kilometre to receive it, which is not that far to travel. I am going to drive my car up to a peaceful part of town, this spot in on the high part of town, overlooking, beautiful grazing paddocks. I'm going to take my phone, earplugs inserted put on some very mindful music from a mindful app I have, then sit there and watch a beautiful sunset. I have been told by WK that it is unbelievable beautiful and peaceful. That is my gift to me this year.

Merry Christmas to everyone on BB, you are all special people, the ones that post, The champions, The ones that are helping others like me get through a rough patch or patches, the ones reading only. Merry Christmas, The organisation the people behind these forums are doing a great job, you are behind the scenes, but you are so appreciated as well as everyone here on these forums. without you we wouldn't get to have our very special forum families, Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication ..

Merry Christmas BB.

Gg, what a beautiful post. And a beautiful gift to yourself.

And it's like you gave that gift to all of us as well.

Thank you so much. I'm really struggling today and your post helped me.

Thanks everyone as well, you are all special, like Gg said, and thanks for being here.

A business at my local shopping precinct had a sign in the window;

'Free food and water for the homeless. Merry Christmas'

As my little miss would say, that's the spirit.

My parents has the tradition of going around and seeing all the Christmas lights around town and I still join them. Been doing it every year since a baby. I also still have my childhood santa bag for pressies which dates way back into the 80's. A bit faded and thin, but still gets used. It's special.

Thank you CMF for all your help. And thank you to everyone who has replied to me trying to lift me up with your love. You are all beautiful people.

If I happen to go "offline" for a short time in the near future....it's only because I am in the process of changing over IT systems/providers etc. and not sure how to do things....hopefully I will manage eventually.

Geoff if you are reading this, I will try to say Hello to you on Christmas morning. (have one for me will you??)

Have a good one and be safe my friends......xx

Finally got the stuff up fixed up on my trivia games on my computer. And then after doing a Santa on it ( Checking it twice) all is a little better I can now spend a little more time in here. It was doing my head in, every time I would start getting somewhere someone would want something from me. Or the bloke I share the room with would want the light off in the middle of the day so he could have a snooze. then over night he would be up and down making noise in his wardrobe or asking staff for a Milo through the night waking me up at all hours. Come on NDIS roll out for me I need to leave here before I go totally mad. I always have been mad now I just have to refine it and bottle it.

Puts a huge Chrissy Pudding out to fang into. If CMF is a really good girl I might let her have some. No more Throwing my Pav's at people They are for eating not throwing. ( Shaking my finger at CMF no no no )

Moon, that's ok. I care about you, we all do. i could feel the despair in your post, i do hope you are feeling a little better knowing we are here for you and with you.

I was doing ok. Have been relaxed, calm, present, looking forward to xmas with my family, until 'he' showed up today and tried to ruin it. It's left a really bad taste in my mouth and I feel anxious.
