This is a safe place where people can post and say hello, chat or send wishes to others and have a 'Virtual Christmas/New Years'!

This year's going to extremely hard. Can't afford much for the little ones. No one 5o spend the day with. Scared I'm just going to stay in bed. Which isn't fair on the little ones. Try to book somewhere for lunch and it 170 or more for me and 50 it more for little ones. I even tried to join 5he mission aus lunch in town but we're on suitable. Story of my life been asking for help but I'm allow just not suitable, no help comes about.

Im ready to run from this live but who would look after my little ones?

hi there LLF, the smallest and cheapest item will please the little ones, even something from a $0.50 slot machine, they will know that your finances aren't too good, they will be thrilled, remember it's not the value but the love you show them.

Hi Music Freak,

Is it possible for you to find somewhere to join others for Christmas Day if you desire to do so? I'm going to be volunteering at out Church Christmas Day lunch, I'd love to be able to invite you along to that if you wanted to come!

Staying home is okay as well, I'm not saying that is not an okay thing to do. My husband has elected to stay home Christmas morning and until I get home. He will sleep in, make himself some lunch, probably use the computer all morning and watch a little T.V.

Sorry to read your family are being unreasonable and not acknowledging how you are feeling.

Hey MF it is fine to write how you are feeling here, this is what the thread is for, to share the good, the bad and the ugly of Christmas. If we can add a little cheer to people along the way that is a bonus. If people don't want any Christmas cheer, they can share in Kanga's type of "Cheer" in his poem above.

Either way, all thoughts about Christmas and the Festive season are welcome here.
