Hello Everyone....

Another thread for some fun distraction...

I have a 4 letter word...You can use 4..5.or 6 letters only..

Example:.....FEAR change 1 letter only....to make a new word..

ie: FEAR now becomes TEARS or YEAR...

The letters of the word can be changed around to make a new word..by replacing one letter only..

ie:..LETTER..can become BETTER...or TESTER...by changing the letter L to S...and shuffling the letters around..

Once you change the word.your turn to select a new 4 letter word for someone else to change it....

Please don’t post a word unless you can change it..

No foreign words....No names of countries, cities, people, animals etc.only commonly used words...

okay I’ll go fist..easy word to start with...

ROSE...

Who’s going to give it a try...

Grandy..

RUINS

Ruins > Rains

Next word: Juice

All I get from JUICE is JUICY, & that just changed one letter, but didn't rearrange the rest.

So, I don't know...?

Hi mmMekitty,

Oh no, I'm sorry! I struggled to pick a word and there was a glass of juice in front of me!

Apparently there's quice, which is doing something without thinking ahead.

I'll try something else:

Milk.

rt

'Quice' - never heard of that word before! 😺

Milk to Film (😺a film all about milk. Cats everywhere will love it)

SPRIG

Hi,

Milk to Film, that's two letters!! 😮

Sprig > Sprag

That one was tough!

Next word: Start

I Kept 'M', I,', & 'L', removed, the 'K' & replaced it with an 'F' then rearranged them. & came up with FILM.

Sorry, about 'SPRIG'; i din't mean to make one so difficult. I think I made a mistake or two when I thought of it. I did find 'GRIPE' by removing the 'S' & including an 'E' then rearranging all letters.

It's difficult, but I'm following our dear Grandy's original instructions. I don't mind if you want to do anagrams only. 😸or if you want to keep the leters in order & just change one. Whatever, I'm happy playing with 'extended guidelines' 😺

So for START: I can find STARE or as per Grandy's intructions: TRAIT

Which is a good next word:

TRAIT

Hi,

Oh man you've really got my brain ticking!

So there's anagrams, but what's the technique you are using? Does it have a name?

Trait > Tiara

Next word: Pencil

Hopefully I did that right!
