Anxious each day

Hi all. For a week or two now I've been feeling anxious each day.  Anxious about my daily responsibilities.  Cause of that anxious feeling. I've been tired more,  body pains and not being able to connect in a happy way with the guy I've been  seeing . I feel hopeless at work and been even upset over small things that my boss has said to me .  I usually go to listen to music to calm me but this time around it hasn't helped. What ways ppl have calmed self down from bring axioms?

Hey, I am similar to you. Anxiety can be so fatiguing so don’t feel bad if you need to take a nap and take it easy don’t feel bad. I also sometimes overthink stuff my boss has said also. I would recommend you maybe talk to someone you trust about this and maybe even see your GP? For relaxation I would talk to a friend on the phone  to be honest, about anything besides anxiety. This is the way I get my mind off things

Dear Bee40,

Thank you for sharing your struggles with anxiety with us. It sounds like you're experiencing a lot of stress and it's impacting your daily life, relationships, and work.

One technique that many people find helpful for managing anxiety is deep breathing exercises. When you're feeling anxious, try taking slow, deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth. This can help slow down your heart rate and calm your nervous system.

Another strategy is to engage in activities that you find calming and enjoyable, such as taking a walk outside, practicing yoga or meditation, or engaging in a hobby you enjoy. This can help shift your focus away from the anxiety and towards something more positive.

It's also important to take care of your physical health by getting enough sleep, eating a balanced diet, and exercising regularly. These things can all help improve your overall well-being and reduce feelings of anxiety.

If you find that your anxiety is impacting your daily life, relationships, or work in a significant way, it may be worth speaking with a mental health professional who can provide support and guidance. They can work with you to develop a treatment plan that's tailored to your individual needs.

Remember that you're not alone in your struggles, and there is help and support available to you. Don't hesitate to reach out for help when you need it.

Hi Bee40,

I'm sorry for your challenge. I had similar experience and I do understand how hard it is.

What works best for me is going to the nature, particularly, hiking, camping or surfing.

When I don't have a lot of time, maintaining a regular exercise is helpful, for example, having a walk, running or swimming in the morning. Listening to birdsong is therapeutic for me.

Hope it helps a bit.

Mark
