Loneliness s

Hi,

Hope all of you are fine.
I have never seen such period of life . When you are almost isolated, disconnected from the rest of world in terms of face-to-face contact , though you are socially connected , but the buzz of CoronaVirus has made our lives still and we are limited to single rooms & house . I have tried a lot to keep myself alive and kicking , but every time after finishing study for one or two hours my mind seems as if it is blocked . Even I am trying to resume my study, but every time fear of being disconnecting from loved ones is increasing .

Hi Bhawani, welcome to the forums. I agree with you, it's a very hard time for people worldwide, and it doesn't help people with mental illnesses.

I don't have any friends either or family apart from my parents, so I know how you feel. Good luck with your studying. I'll be your friend and chat if you like? I'm here.

Take care, I hope you feel better somehow, soon.

Tayla

Thank you so much for your words of encouragement.

yes please, I would like to chat .

Bhawani

Sure, what would you like to chat about?

Hi,

I am trying to help myself from stress of being alone. I have no medical issues , I am quite comfortable with chat, the only thing that give me depression is that I have no one nearby me . I am trying to talk , read and even listen music but nothing works . May be it is because of the reason that I have no female friend with whom I can share my feelings . Because, all of sudden it seems you half of your life is missing .

kind Regards

I understand about having no one nearby, sorry to hear about that and your health issues. Do you have a GP or health professional? Take care.

Tayla

Hi,

sorry for late response.

After talking to I opened my laptop and has started working on my research paper , yes , I have a GP but can’t go outside due to Coronavirus . I don’t know when and where it catches you. I prefer to stay at home until this is settled , because news and media are projecting the same on high side .

I will go to my GP once I am feeling myself secure . I don’t want to take risk at this moment .

what you suggest? How can I remove fear of isolation ?

regards

Hmm, I don't know what you could do in terms of the isolation thing. I'm sorry I can't help with that. I have lots going on mentally and physically too but I do care and try to support people. I'm still here if you want to chat and I'm sure others will reach out to you too, although we can still talk, I hope so. Take care.

Thank you so much for continuous guiding .

I am trying my best to remove this fear of isolation & loneliness & if anybody is facing same then we can share our situation.

Regards

Hi bhawani I just started on a antidepressant for the first time ever in my life the week before all this drama started. I’m at the end of my second week on it as of today and because of corona virus now professionals like psychologists are not accepting new patients 😔.
