It is very frustrating to open up to a professional and have them not take you seriously. Laughing at you is disgusting that id so un professional. .please keep trying at seeking the help u deserve .ask around as to who is a good dr ,counsellor. Once you find the right one things will improve. I can empathise with you ,i had a nurse last week who decided to override the drs and discharge me from care because she just didnt want me there ..i had been admitted for suicidal thoughts and she came roaring in my room told me i have to and im not in a motel for a holiday..my dr was not impressed nor any others i had complained too..i was not meant to let go .she had no understanding compassion anything..so i can understand ur frustrations when you feel laughed at.keep going love keep looking for the right dr .i understand being in a rural area is extra hard..animals are an amazing therapy for so many things if u dont want to ride just spend quiet loving moments with your horse it may be helpful for you..take care alicia joy
