That's a shame you had to miss your son's last day at the school Mark, but it can be hard to get in to see a doctor these days! There are not enough of them in regional areas for the growing populations.
I wonder if they had people other than the actors riding the bikes during the scenes in the movie, or if the actors knew how to ride motorbikes? I imagine they would use experience riders.
I hope to finish watching it tonight. The scenery was wonderful too.
It's baking hot here - I have a birdbath outside and I keep going out to top up the water as the poor birds are bathing and drinking in it all the time. I'm glad it helps them, birds feel the heat too. I have several spiders sitting on one wall, they have come inside to get out of the heat! I don't mind as they will go outside again when it cools down later.

Hi Hanna the hospitals are so busy these days and with Christmas coming up I didn't have much chance of changing being an urgent appointment.
I have my daughter here at the moment very sick.I tried ringing up Friday and both practises were booked out so I made an appointment for Monday morning. My son is at his mother's at the moment.
I am pretty sure in Easy Rider that they did most of the actors did the riding them selves. The bikes are chopper 1950s panheads. I might watch it again I haven't watched it for awhile.
- It has been extremely hot in parts of our country. Its a lot cooler here today and very windy.

Hi Mark
Sorry for the delay in replying to you, it's been a busy day and I don't seem to have stopped running around! I hope you managed to get a doctor's appointment for your daughter, it's so hard to find a GP who is available in the regions! I'm sorry to hear she is sick and I hope she's improving now.
It's so hot here my TV reception has gone - the heat on the antenna I think - this is going to be a nuisance all summer!
A couple of people I know approached me today - they volunteer with a local charity and knew little Sam - they said they know of some puppies that will be available from a puppy farm that will be available after Christmas - they were not being cared for apparently - and they asked if I want one - they will purchase it for me and have it vaccinated etc - so a free puppy! Either Cavalier King Charles or Cocker Spaniel. That is so nice of them. I need to look up the breeds and check on health problems - but how nice of them to offer to buy one for me - they know I am not well off. I told them I would need time to decide as it's unexpected - but I do miss having a dog! It's incredibly nice of them whatever I decide. Some people are thoughtful!
I hope you have a good evening Mark. Best wishes to your daughter and I hope she is feeling better!

hi Mark, hope ur okay, it's Sleepy here. I have been approved for the NDIS and was able to get a laptop. I hope u can get ur son what he needs. The NDIS is very annoying. I don't mean to complain, it has good things in it, like cleaning really helps me, but it is very hard to find good support workers who can help with mental health. I don't know what to do with them and I can't find any I click with. I hope it is okay me writing here. I have been going through a rough patch and missed chatting to you.

- Hi sleepy it's great seeing you here.I missed chatting to you to.You can chat to me here anything.Thats great about yoj getting NDIS.It can be a bit tricky and can be a long process getting things approved. It has helped us a lot.Still learning what we can and can't use it for.At the moment my kids see a physio and podiatrist under ndis and my daughter does hydra therapy which has helped with her back issues. And it is paying incontinence nurse for my son.I would like to find some more supports for them next year.

Hi Hanna that's really nice you have been offered a puppy.Let me know if you choose one.
I took my daughter to the doctors on Monday and she told us to go to the emergency at the hospital to have further investigation and an ultrasound and put on a drip. After a good day in there she was discharged with nothing to major found. She is feeling much better now.It will take her a bit of time to get over it.

It's interesting here Mark - we have no television reception because of a fault with an antenna and as I am in Community Housing they haven't yet decided if they will replace the part that is needed so we are without TV so far for a few days and it looks like it may be weeks. Well everyone is going crazy as they don't know how to occupy themselves. I am loving it - I only have it on for the news anyway usually - as I have a cd player I play music, I do stuff on the laptop, I can still play a DVD if I want to, and I love the peace and quiet! It's quite funny to see how other people here just don't know how to occupy the time now.
I had a look on reddit and people who had given up TV altogether said how much they enjoy it! I think I must be one of those kinds of people!
I got some great nature documentaries from the library to watch if I want and I have lots of books and music. I don't know whether I really want the TV back - only for the ABC/SBS news I think! How funny.
I am still thinking about the doggie - it's quite hard to close to losing little Sam still - I feel like I would compare other dogs with him too much. Maybe I wouldn't but i'm not sure.
I am off to get some dinner made! I hope your son and daughter are keeping well.

Hi Mark! So nice to see your reply.
I'm writing to you on my NDIS approved laptop! Lol. I'm so glad your daughter can do hydra therapy. That is hard to have back issues so young, i'm so happy she has found something that works. You sound like a very proactive Dad at finding things that work. And also they are lucky you are managing their lives and opporuntities so well. I would've loved to have a parent who was so supportive.
So far for the NDIS i organised a lot of workers but it was becoming a hassle, as they were very pushy in trying to lock in shifts. I have scaled back all the workers and am just keeping one, Elsie, who i get along with well.
So I just have one at the moment.
i've had some traumatic events recently that have been really hard. It has really triggered my trauma. I am feeling a bit isolated and lonely. I think the NDIS can make things a bit worse before it makes it better.
the cleaning support is nice. I would like to have more support in the home but I feel bad telling them wht to do.
