Recently I have been self harming. Im not sure if I'm allowed to say how though. Should I tell my doctor? And if I do , how do I tell her? She is quite approachable and lovely. The idea of telling her that I S/H, fills me with so much anxiety! How do I blurt that out? What would she do? I already am booked for 6 psychologist appointments and I have written it down as one of my reasons for attending. Any advice please?
Thanks very much.

All good L J , I just really struggle when my daughter takes her 9 month old daughter home after I love her for two days, I think I live through this bub , knowing her bigger brother I could have saved , her mom works and I have her for two days, she is my world , my connection to her is through her sweet angle big brother . Once she goes home I really don’t do well .

Is there a way you can see her on another day in the week?
That would be difficult. I bet your daughter appreciates you looking after your granddaughter. How special to spend that time with her. Bet she's super cute

Thank you Sophie,
but it’s my punishment for not looking out for my angel, why why didn’t I call the ambulance? The guilt just eats holes in my heart

Thanks for reaching out here again tonight.
We're so sorry to hear how low and sad you feel. Having to work on days like this can be so draining. Did anything happen (thoughts or interactions) at work to cause these urges to self-harm?
We'd really encourage you to speak with our Support Service. We’re available 24/7 by phone on 1300 22 4636 or on Webchat 1pm-12am AEDT on our website: www.beyondblue.org.au/getsupport. One of our professional mental health counsellors at our Support Service will give you support and point you in the right direction for help in your area.
Keep updating on how you're doing LJ.
