I have been struggling eating and eating healthy foods over the last couple of weeks. I really do not want to go back further to how I use to eat, that is eating junk food, takeaways, copious amounts of chocolate, processed junk and comfort eating.
Finding it challenging to stay motivated to actually prepare what I know helps me feel better mentally, emotionally and physically. Plus I have been feeling overwhelmed with other stuff happening in my life, which somehow makes it more challenging. The old unhealthy comfort eating thing is coming back. And I think I am getting concerned and scared about that. I so much do not want to go back to how I use to be. I was so sick. Plus I now have some physical things not right in my body , so I need to be more careful and mindful of what I eat. ( Pre cancer cells , high blood pressure )
I was eating really well since Febuary of this year, it’s just the last couple of weeks I haven’t.
So I would like to use this thread to help me be accountable to Beyond Blue people. So like a diary where I can post and report what I eat. And also any healthy eating tips, motivating strategies to help eat better or anything related to healthy eating for our bodies including our mental health.

Hi MM,
My younger sister had Hello fresh delivered, she still might idk.
And ok 24 months. Do you still win money with it?
Yeah I believe you are right about us women and chocolate. A Toblerone... quite a cute looking chocolate with the tall triangle shapes. I saw a massive one of those once... Maybe 1 metre long.
Not sure about the eating and exercise ratio. Maybe your metabolism is different . Think there is some superfood that may help with metabolism, cannot remember what though.

Hello Shelly, Magic and everyone...
I do like the sound of the Gada bowl...Your peanut butter dressing sounds so interesting...If it’s okay to ask you, um do you make it into a thin dressing or a thicker type of dressing?...I so much want to try it 🙂...
I think my neighbour and my friend knows I like chocolate..I got a gift of a tin of chocolates from both of them, so funny because I bought the exact same chocolate tins for them...Hmm easily done though, as we only have Coles n Woolworth and both shops had them on special....I have promised myself only to have 1 chocolate a day..hmmm I’ve already had 4 days of chocolate...
Wishing you so much good luck, dear Magic....I so hope you do win it...either way....you done your very best, enjoyed the journey...and got fitter along the way..
Shelly..I wish you all the best in your 5 days challenge...I believe in you, that you will complete the challenge...keep believing in yourself lovely Shelly..
New Year hugs 🤗 with my care and love..

You are so sweet Grandy.
How are you going with your healthy eating?
Chocolate in tins... That's pretty funny you both bought the same tins. I think I would struggle only eating 1 chocolate a day. Is it a nice looking tin?
Peanut sauce... I made mine into a thick pouring one, by adding tiny bits of water little by little.
I started with this below (recipe from the challenge) , then adjusted it to my own taste.
3 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 tablespoon tamari
1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
Stir all ingredients together. Keep stiring. Mine didn't look like it would combine but eventually it did. Then I added the water.
Also currently I am using the brand Bega peanut butter (no added salt or sugar ) it just has peanuts in it.

Hello Shelly,
The chocolates are the new Cadbury special special assortment....we all had a bit of a giggle....The tin isn’t really a nice one...but I’ll find some use for it in the garden..probably another watering place for the birds...
I have all the ingredients for your peanut butter dressing..I’m going to make some tomorrow and add it to a garden salad....
I made peanut butter cookies a while back....I wasn’t much of a fan of their texture but that didn’t stop me...they tasted okay...
I hope you’re okay and not being too hard on yourself...You are a very amazing person...
Did I tell you about the time I made a cupcake tea without my glasses on....I thought their were tea leaves floating in my cup..l.after I finished it, I went to wash it up...glasses on now...😂😂Oh My goodness...not tea leaves at all...but ants..tea with some protein....😂😂 ☕️ 🐜...
Hugs lovely Shelly...🤗💜🧸.
Grandy..

Hi Grandy, not sure whether I am being hard on myself or not. I am coping...
You may have told me about the ants in your cup. If its on your thread somewhere I may have read it. It is great you can smile about it.
Pretty sure I would have made peanut butter cookies before as well.
Yeah the peanut dressing tasted delicious to me. I especially liked dipping raw red capsicum in to it. Those two flavours went well together I thought.
Good on you making a garden salad. So good the veggies

Day 3 of this all plant challenge today.
Breakfast..... Yesterday I ate overnight oats/chia for breakfast. I wasn't hugely hungry. But ate most of it anyway. I just soaked oats, chia seeds in some soy milk overnight. Then topped it with sliced banana and caramel (peanut butter, maple syrup) and extra milk. It tasted ok.
Lunch.... I ate it around 1pm. That Gada bowl. The extra one I made the day before. Still delicious and felt nourishing. I will most likely keep this recipe.
Dinner.... Again I wasn't feeling hugely hungry. I made a green smoothie. It had orange juice, mango, banana and baby spinach. The recipe was for kale. I didn't have any of it. So spinach it was. Pretty yummy smoothie that one. Good one for a begginer smoothie drinker.
I also drank an iced chocolate yesterday. Soy milk, cacoa, vanilla, agave. That was not in this special challenge

Breakfast.... Smoothie that had orange juice, mango banana and large handful of spinach
Lunch... Potato wedges, corn, black beans (which tasted a bit Mexican) cherry tomatoes, coriander with mixed organic greens. All with a hummus style dressing. Very yummy. I made enough for tomorrow.
Dinner..... Cherries. 2 slices of toast with hummus on it (not in the challenge)

Day 4 of challenge... No chocolate or other junk. Feel encouraged by that. I feel a little less tired, less foggy headed.
Breakfast..... Smoothie like that other days.
Lunch.... Left over potato meal from yesterday plus baby greens
Dinner.... This spelt pasta, with onion, tomato, spinach with a creamy smoked paprika dressing and more green salad leaves. I don't normally eat much pasta. This was pretty yummy.
And some cherries

Day 5 of this challenge....I did it

Lunch... Left over spelt pasta from last night. Plus green salad leaves
Dinner... I just was not hungry. The pasta meal was super filling. So drank a green smoothie
