Three things to be thankful for today

Some days it is really hard to find anything to be thankful for when we feel overcome by the darkness and fog of depression. If I look hard enough, I can find something to be thankful for.
I would like to encourage others to write down three things they are thankful for, and to realise there is a sense of hope available to us all. Sometimes it is just a little hard to find!
So my three things for today are:
1: The lovely singing of birds in the morning as they welcome in the new day
2: The ability to read and write
3: A lovely hot shower.
Wishing all the "family" in BB Land a day full of noticing the nice things in life. Kind regards to you all, from Dools.

1. Memories of kids I've worked with.
2. The knowledge that my heart is at least working right, since it is so often broken.
3. I think I'm getting better at catching myself habitually biting my fingers. Maybe I've just noticed it more because I'm biting them more. Hopefully it's the first one.

Wow ... what a fantastic idea. I would hope everyone has something to be thankful for. So here goes.
Today I am thankful for:
1. My family, without them I doubt I would still be here.
2. My friends, those who have not given up on me when others have easily given up.
3. Living here in Australia, there are so many countries in the world that are not safe, it is lovely that my family and I live here in Aus.
Have a lovely day everyone
🙂

This will be difficult ...
Today I am grateful for:
1. My pet cat Ginger. Thank you for the past 9 years of company, all the memories, I will never forget you. (I had to have her put down just this morning)
2. My ability to cope. I have no idea how, but perhaps because there is no other way, there is no one else to do it for me. I had to make the decisions this morning on what to do, come home and dig her grave, then break the news to my two boys.
3. My counselor who I had an appointment with 2 hours after I had my cat put down. I was a mess!
