Dear All
The purpose of this thread is as a meeting point for those that can’t sleep and it is late (I.E. AFTER midnight.)

It can be a useful space for users to share their issues with insomnia as well as coping strategies. It can also be a general space for users to converse and support one another throughout a difficult night.

Please note – for those that are just bored or lonely we already have a place - the BB Café, which I recommend instead of here

Did anyone see the moon last night?

It was so bright it almost looked like a spotlight was shining on the ground outside. I may as well have gone out and done some gardening.

hi mark - does the sound of the train bother you?
I don't like certain sounds at night, but light traffic is soothing.
I stayed at an airbnb once over a busy road (not crazy busy, but with mild traffic up until the early hours of the morning) I liked it and felt protected.

But other sounds like people screaming, babies crying, ppl talking on the street, etc makes me feel scared.

Hi sleepy I actually like the sound of trains. We don't have that many go pass and I can see them from my place and I count the wagons. It is usually very quiet at night here.

hi Mark that sounds nice and definitely relaxing. That's good that it is quiet. It's nice to live in a calm place.

good for our mental health 🙂

i like my privacy and spcace so i'd probably like living in the country. I heard once that ppl who have PTSD tend to enjoy it, less busy-ness and stimulation. Probably not true and a great generalisation but just something i remembered

Hello all anyone else awake. This is my first time alone in this place in a year as loved one is in hospital.

I am a restless sleeper at best if times.

I have the radio on for company.

Thinking of everyone who can’t sleep.

Hey, how are u?
