A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

• 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

I hope this takes off...

What an odd feeling that you are thanking me for enjoying your thread. I have always enjoyed reading your posts. And was really happy when you became a champion because it meant you would be encouraged to write more and more people would get to read your words.

I wrote that to you because I meant it. The things that make us different are sometimes the most appreciated and wonderful things about us. Your questions make me think. Keep my mind busy. And I am thankful for that.

Today I have a lot to be thankful for...

I would like to give Sara a bouquet of honesty for her bullying thread. Today I spoke to two 13 year old girls and asked if there were any new apps I had to worry about. They laughed and told me not to worry that they are all getting smarter about cyber bullying and learning how to support eachother better and ask for help from parents. There is hope! Thank you for giving me the question to ask.

And a bouquet of gazanias to Mary (White Rose) for her beautiful words on my thread. You are teaching me Mary that I am not alone in battling my feelings of worthlessness. That on days I feel unable to see worth in myself others do. Thank you Mary.

And to you Quirky. I think I'll pick red salvias from my garden for you. Just because I can and I want to. To give you a pick me up and a reminder that I like you just as you are.
