A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

  • 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

  1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
  2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
  3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

I hope this takes off...

Spreading the love...Sara

Hi Bethie,

Such a beautiful message. All the best to you and your family.

Just goes to show how much acknowledgement, validation and caring can mean to a person, and a whole family!

Cheers to you from Dools

Hi Paul,

Thank you, I just got here.

Just so you know Sad Mushroom is a she....hehehehehe Well, most times I am a she.

No gender issue just a 'think I should have been male' issue due to my thought patterns and such. Learning to get in touch with my girlie side but the dresses are so odd and the shoes very uncomfortable.

Ever try to run in a dress Paul? Not good.

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm not sure how this works but i"d like to give 'thistles" to DB and GG.

DB for her thread in suicide where I first noticed GG and thought I could connect to what they were saying. Without them, I would never have posted a word. I would have just kept reading and hoping that everything would go away.

I don't know if they like thistles but they look pretty and are hardy. Thistles are strong and survive most conditions and are generally overlooked.

For me, DB and GG are thistles. Strong and beautiful and survivors. (hope that doesn't offend)

Hi everyone,

I would like to give some very well deserved recognition and praise to Donte' who seems to have been (be) very active on the Multicultural Experiences forum 🙂

I have noticed that he/she/other (sorry, I’m not sure which gender Donte' identifies with) frequently raises some very thoughtful and intelligent questions in posts.

In particular, I really enjoyed reading Donte's thoughts and questions raised in his/her/other thread, “Pretty in Pink”, on the Multicultural Experiences thread.

I’m not sure if Donte' will see this but I just wanted to say an appreciative thank you for your insight and intelligence 🙂

Pepper xoxo

Agree Peps.. Donte I read one of your posts, we've spoken before, you're a good one for people to lean on. You speak as I've said well bring up good points & open for discussion. Many here do.. it's impressive
