Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."
Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.
I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.
My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;
- 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'
I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...
- Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
- Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
- Sign off respectfully and sincerely.
I hope this takes off...
Spreading the love...Sara

Hello and thank you DemonBlaster,
badly needing distraction from next Thursday, looks like poems and flowers are my distraction today. I hope I'm not to annoying
Demonblaster,
You have a colourful face with a great big smile,
Mh issues dropped me into a sad pile,
you answered my call with your heart and arms open wide,
how lucky I am to have found you, please stay my side,
your such a special lady full of love and compassion,
your gentle & kind, but the beast, you hate with a passion,
In my deep tunnel I was saved by you, an unseen friend,
You say their is hope in life, my life that I wanted to end,
I believe in your words, their full of encouragement,
youve given me hope, and a safe place with no judgement,
I hope I make it to the end that's good,
with you by my side I hopefully should,
daffodils & butterflies I'll tie in a bunch,
to say a big thank you ever so much.
GG

This is a group one. The biggest bunch of succulents to Velvet, Jay, Stressless, Paul and Quercus who all jumped on board today when I had a big melt down. Each one of you reached out, which you do anyway, but today I couldn't take anymore, I was at braking point and you all stayed with me, to keep talking, to be there for me.
I chose succulents because they are hardy, they can withstand tough conditions, they are survivors just like all of you.
love you all

Well, what can I say?
its 12:40am, my wife and I left home in country Victoria Melbourne bound to visit her mum that is unwell. We just got home, exhausted.
Then I read your poem amd then read it out loud Grandy. Oh boy, my eyes welled up. So nice, that soft egg melted.
Thankyou GG
And Im flattered by you using distraction to even a minor degree. Wow, you adopting some ideas has been so fulfilling to me. Three steps up two steps down, eventualy you climb the ladder.
Thankyou to others that endorsed the bouquet
🙂

Hi CMF,
Thank you for the succulent 😊
Funny I was in what one day will be my succulent garden this morning. You are most welcome. It was a shock to see you hit that point yesterday but we do 'get it'.
I admire how you pick yourself up and try again. Days like yesterday are horrible and yet you are here to make changes and protect yourself. You must be a succulent too CMF 😊. Which is your favourite?

Hello everyone...To anyone who struggles with feelings of low self esteem and self worth this post from Sad_Mushroom is POWERFUL! Well worth the read in full on Quirkywords thread.
Many years ago I was a compulsive apologiser. I felt like I was a stepping stone for everyone and I couldn't get up. Like a lily pad on a pond that everyone was stepping on to cross the pond and with each step I was being pushed under. It's one of those smaller things that seems harmless until it's too late. One minute you are just trying to keep the peace and avoid conflict and the next you're just a stepping stone for everyone else.
Beautiful and the imagery of the lily pad was perfect in my mind.
Thank you SM. Your posts are a very welcome new addition to the forums and I'm grateful you decided to share. What are your favourite flowers?
