A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

• 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

Dear All~
Sez’s thread here is so important because it is very easy to take the efforts of others for granted – or if not that then not to appreciate to the fullest extent the real difficulties that need to be overcome at times for caring posts to appear.

I guess this unintentional neglect can apply to all who post, perhaps particularly to Community Champions who may persevere due to a greater sense of obligation because of their position. I’m thinking of one in particular at the moment, though all are deserving.

Sometimes one does glimpse the struggle behind the words and I’d like to offer a robust container of hope - an acorn - to Quercus (Nat). Nat has kept on offering all the hope and warmth of which she is capable despite hard times and the very great extra strain involved.

I wish her the peace and contentment she deserves

Acknowledging and praising people for their inner beauty, wisdom, caring, insight and especially giving, is a worthy endeavour indeed.

I'm more than happy this thread's taken off as I'd hoped it would. 🙂 Our voices are our gift to others as well as ourselves. There's so much pain, confusion and loneliness on this forum, yet we still give time and effort to support members. How brilliant is that?!

We're not alone in our struggle and that's a blessing.

To Nat, SM, Mary, Mathy, and all who've received bouquet's; your soothing and accomplished words; your pearls, validates your truth that lies beneath the pain, fear and heartache. It's who we all are...treasure troves of loving intent.

I'm honoured to be among this caring community of sufferers, care givers and peers. Well done and keep up the great work!

Thank you Croix for the acorn. It reminded me of a happy memory so I'll share that and then log off for a few days. Meaningful choice of gift and words that hit home hard. Thank you.

Bit frazzled. A bouquet of foxgloves from my garden to those who have written to me. You know who you are. My apologies for not naming (I'll miss someone I know it!). I will write individually but it will take time. I am very thankful for you all and the kindness you've shown to me.

I would like to send a bouquet of your favourite flowers to every person connected to this forum, wether you be a regular member, a first time user, or someone who just reads and doesn't contribute.

Each and everyone of us are important. We all have our own unique way of communicating, we may never know hoe much our words impact others in a positive way.

So just want to send out bouquets and thank yous to everyone who helps make this forum the place that it is.

For those of you with a sweet tooth, I am going to include some of those gorgeous chocolate flower bouquets I have seen about the place. Just hope the chocolates don't melt in this heat!
