A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

  • 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

  1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
  2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
  3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

I hope this takes off...

Spreading the love...Sara

This bouquet goes to Dory

A short story first

Once I worked in a factory. I didnt like my boss that I knew for only 2 weeks. He asked me "what do you think of me"? I replied "well now that you've asked I think you are an "....then I asked him "what do you think of me"? He said "I'll let you know in 6 months"

6 months went by. He said "so now what do you think of me"? I replied "I think you are a good man, funny and kind"

He said "and so is the lesson...I never judge others for 6 months as first impressions often reverse themselves.."

And so that applies to Dory.

As Ive found Dory has a wicked sense of humour that has taken time to get to know. Now I'm always looking out for it ready for a laugh.

But her kindness is huge. Considering her life of sad and disappointing events she has remained a compassionate person.

As a member of bb forum, what else could we want?

Thankyou Dory. This bouquet is for you! You're a kind, considerate and funny person

Well said Tony!

Beautifully said Tony WK. All so true, and Dory you very much deserve this bouquet.

I would like to say thank you to Corny (Cornstarch) for her honest words which are helping me in ways I do not have the words to explain.

One example I would like to share is her words about confiding in another and asking for help....

my opinion on when are people at the greatest risk to themselves in their journey, I would list when telling the family/significant others as #1.

I can never forgive some of the things family have said to me. I don’t see myself as a bitter person, but they were absolutely soul destroying, and on bad days leave me wanting to divorce the entire family. I don’t give a damn about their rational and logical thoughts, it only makes me feel even more alone.

Honest words. Hearfelt words that I feel privileged to have read.

Corny I would like to give you a bouquet of irises. My Grandma used to say they are symbolic of hope.

Thank you.

I agree Quercus, Corny is full of wisdom and honesty. I feel privileged every time I come across her and her wise and thoughtful posts.

Butterfly Wings,

Thank you so much 💞 I am moved. You bring so much light and love to the forum.

Love you,

Pepper xoxo

To my dear friend Tony

I have been swimming around looking for this chest of gold, sea I never been in here before.

So what you saying is you thought I was a smelly pike but turns out I'm a rainbow trout.

Yes I do find it so hard to tackle complements, maybe it scares the bubbles out of me.

Thankyou so much you are a wonderful man, and I don't know how you get everything done.

Dory , it is warm in here.😘
