A Bouquet for Pearls - share your appreciation for other members

Every now and then, members share a beautiful Pearl of Wisdom. How often do you think to yourself; "OMG that's great! I wish everyone could see this."

Presenting someone with a bunch of flowers is a generous way of acknowledging their insightful words.

I hope this thread stays active through members giving out praise regularly to people they feel deserving, and therefore keep generosity of spirit alive within the pages of BeyondBlue Forum.

My bunch of Red Roses (my choice) goes to Wishful for the following sentence;

  • 'Personally, I see no reason to be praised in me, but I'm learning that seeing through the eyes of others can be more accurate!!'

I so hear you Wishful. Just beautiful...

  1. Try to keep your leading comments short to focus on 'their' words.
  2. Choose specific flowers (or a gift if you like) to present to them.
  3. Sign off respectfully and sincerely.

I hope this takes off...

Spreading the love...Sara

To Croix:

Thanks for being yourself and saying the one thing guaranteed to make me laugh!

You've helped me climb out of the pit I got myself into today.

I'll give you a pot of snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis 'Walrus'). Yes they exist!

Thanks Croix.

Hey Quercus;

Congratulations on 200 posts! All worthy and very readable!

I'm sending a compilation of English wild field flowers tied up in a garland of entwined posies.

Well done!

Sara x

Oh! I love coming on this thread it makes me feel good... And then I saw your post Sara and I'm blushing, overwhelmed and really pleased.

What a lovely surprise. Field flowers are perfect they remind me of my wedding bouquet. Thankyou Sara for your post. You've made my day!

Today, a bouquet goes to RandR for initiating the inspiring thread "NOTHING CHANGES IF nothing changes".

Here's a bunch of sunflowers because they keep turning towards the source of Life as it shifts along.

Totally in agreement with you Starwolf! RnR's thread is inspirational. Best thing I've read on the forums in a while.

Thank you RnR I'll add to the sunflowers too 😊

You're welcome Quercus!

Sounds like a beautiful wedding bouquet.

Star...I've yet to read R&R's thread, but will endeavour to asap.

Well done everyone!

OMG SARA

oh ive missed you! how are you going? ive been very worried about you and youve been in my thoughts alot! oh god im glad to see your name pop up!

Hello everyone,

Well I could give flowers left right and centre lately but there are two things that have happened on the forums that were particularly awesome.

So....

To JessF

A posy of violets. They seem appropriate... Unobtrusive but absolutely beautiful with a lovely fragrance. Thankyou for your words on a thread I write on. They were so incredibly helpful to me.

I suggested the usual... what would you choose to do if you won lotto and money wasn't an issue...

Then out of the blue you've related it into a practical way of accepting dreams that aren't achievable and working them into a realistic goal. It was very beautifully written. And thought provoking.

Thank you JessF.

And to Stressless,

A bouquet of honesty flowers to say thank you for your thread about embarrassing/funny things that happen in therapy. I've already told you about how I think talking honestly about therapy might encourage others to be less fearful of opening up in therapy. But I wanted others to know this too and hopefully to join in!

So thank you for this thread and a place to make therapy a bit more fun and a bit less scary 😊. You made my day when I came online and saw your posts.

Thank you Stressless 😊
