Hey Zals,

Having depression makes loads of things hard hey? It does for me too.

Do you want to talk more about how you're feeling?

It's a confusing world, especially when you're young and trying to work yourself out and where you fit.

I'm still trying to work out where i fit and I'm a fair bit older than you.

I do understand what it's like to be a young lesbian though, so i am here and happy to talk with you some more if you would like.

Hey and welcome to our caring community Zals;

Depression's a tough gig isn't it eh? You've shown great courage and determination putting yourself out there as you have, so kudos!

As you've only written one sentence, understanding your situation's a bit of a mystery for me. I'll give it a shot though, but you'll have to pull me up if I'm off the mark ok?

As someone in the sisterhood, I get how difficult it can be finding your feet, let alone doing it with depression. In my way of thinking, your mental health comes first and foremost; everything stems from there.

Once you've gained some confidence, (hopefully thru strategies from a MH Care Plan from your GP and Psychologist - med's etc) sorting thru the what-if's can begin.

As I'm not sure where you are in the scheme of things, I'm assuming you're trying to form connections while dealing with symptoms. This can be hard slog if you rush things or lose sight of your health as a priority.

The other issue's coming out; not sure where you are with this so I won't comment.

I'll leave the door open from here hun. Don't worry if you can't manage a long post, it's not a problem. Just write what you can so I have a little more to go on ok?

Be gentle on yourself and take care;

Sez
