Loneliness... What choices are there?

Loneliness is one of the cruelest underestimated places to be in life. Most of us need people.

This is all too common & wayyyy too many suffer this.

What's out there to help people?

Forums is a good place for many that are shy or depressed and not comfortable face on.

Excercising outside, amongst people, eye contact often connects a smile with people. Lifting

Here & assuming other places in Oz there's through community centres volunteers that visit, take shopping, talk, listen etc or phone calls weekly. (GP would know more)

Public transporting, around people, even if not engaged in convo, still amongst it

I feel ok in groups but am a slack friend when it comes to one on one time. I know what it means when your head doesn’t have room for anyone.

l actuatlly prefer one on one ulys when l can. In better times though also love a party but l wouldn't wanna try it right noww.

Im sorry that I havent been on your thread before....and if I can say another great thread topic too 🙂

Sometimes we are so busy 'coping' with all the various mechanisms and therapy available we can end up with a 'tired' mind. I find it difficult to socialize... I think I have been so 'focused' on keeping my professional life going for so long I have little mental horsepower left for socializing......unfortunately

I hope that made some sense DB 🙂

l'm in a similar boat and just have no room for most. l o find coming heree andsome other thing s a nice release though , probably being among people that get things yaknow. It's nice.
